So I bought shares earlier this year at 90cents a share. I got 5 or 6 shares I have the order receipt but the price went through the roof. To now more than R200 but I'm confused my easy equities says if I sell I'll only get that money I bought it at.

I have watched a bunch or even more videos on how you can inverst in easy equities and all of that ,but what i dont understand is how nuch you can realllllly make from investing in this platform and what are the advantages on holding your investments even the market isnt in yout fav that year ??

your returns (profit/loss) is based on your skills and abilities to choose assets that grow in value or pay good cashflow(dividens/interest/rent). The platform has nothing to do with what you choose to invest in, all it offers is the ability to Buy, Hold or Sell, how you do that is up to you.

@@moneymondays, thanks for getting back to me, however I have been doing so thus the reason I asked, if I check again then my rand or dollar value of my initial investment decreased. So I have not been doing this ever since I noted this,
