I'm a black African- female I love this movie this movie I followed every bit of it and I cried so many times I love the actors and actresses they put their heart and soul into what they have they truly love making this movie and I know there was some up and downs but that's okay because it didn't show through this movie I love this movie and to this day I am still watching it every now and then and I pick up them something that I may have missed but this movie took my heart and it made me a more better woman anyway I know a woman can love heart that's our weakness some women can love with a whole heart and want nothing but to love that person that they they are with❤ thank you so much for the translation and let me be able to travel into your world the movie I don't know I just love it I love the people I love the culture for such a good movie man it couldn't have been mad if they can all get together and make another movie I will be there❤ the children I love that swell makes my heart with joy they did they part as well mainly the adopted son of the second wife of the empress he said Nietzsche he called her mother but everytime he put her in jail I cried because it was so unfair but this is what I seen when you have a good heart and you love like she did the devil is always there to make your life miserable he kept around him he kept a lot of bad people around him but the thing I learned in this movie off so that it doesn't pay to be ugly to people they pay the price for their actions some regretted what they did and some did not thank you for this movie it's one of my favorites

These sets are so elaborate plus costumes for everyone like the funeral scene had to be expensive. Also the scenes where they were in the water when the empress died or when they went to Hongzhou I mean damn! Keep it up I am totally addicted. Yanxi Palace, Ruyi's royal love, Ancient Love Poetry, Empresses in the palace well you get the idea. Ten Miles of peach blossoms and the sequel, Eternal love of dreams etc
Their leading actor is over paided& overrated. Why take the role when 1st didn't understand his role as Qin emperor,domineering,aggrogant heartless etc)but took it anyway.what? Cause big drama & big paids $8m compared to "...YangXi Palace" less than $4m all crews plus production cost. Shamefully lost to YangXi palace where agent,producers & director are smart & money wised spent,100% correctly selected actors/actresses "money well spent!"
Hi, no they were saying that the food, when eaten, made too much noise, which would then be picked up by the mics, and also that the pieces of food were a bit too big to chew and swallow fast, which meant that the actors wouldn’t be able to say their lines on time, so they were asking the cook to modify the food.
I don't know why but the Empress Dowager playing badminton in her mourning outfit is so funny to me 😂 Especially her HAIYYA! at one point
