@@lggr2261 Hi dose the Samsung A9 plus use Ram Plus l mean does it use memory from your internal storage to free up room and use that storage space as ram from your phone I seen it on one of the videos on RUclips that it does I’m thinking of getting a Samsung A9 plus tablet
I just purchased the TabA9 plus 5G that has 64G hard drive and 4G Ram Memory. As I only do no more than 2 things with it it really is perfectly fine. I still had the very old Tab A from over 8 years ago which also worked perfectly fine. With the 'trade in' I paid less than 100 dollars for this upgrade. I'm very satisfied with the A9 plus. More Ram Memory would have made little difference. This one is also a winner.
I just got the 8g model & I got it to specifically play Asphalt Unite (formerly Asphalt 9), which was featured in the video. It is running the game much better & more smoothly than my laptop, which has an i5 processor, 8g ram, 256 SSD & an integrated GPU. With my laptop, I have to run the game on the "very low" graphics setting & it looks horrible & runs very choppy. With the A9+, the game looks great & I can run it on the highest graphics settings for Android devices. I love this tablet & would recommend it all day long over the 4g model because it's only slightly more expensive & totally worth that cost. It will stay relevant & work well for a longer period of time. In the near future, having only 4g of ram will not be enough even for normal everyday usage. Apps are constantly updating & requiring more processing power & ram. So, if you have the option to go for 8g, it's totally worth it.
Hey I have the same tab. Have you updated to the latest software, UI 6.1? I feel like after I updated my tabled became sluggish. I was curious to know your experience. Thnx
Thank you for your excellent reviews. I bought the 8GB one and it's awesome. Samsung needs to do more of this. I had the A7 and it died quickly. I'd never had one of Samsung's tablets do this. Crashes until the end of the moon and the charging ability stopped first. I look forward to your upcoming reviews.
I personally won't. Because I have no need for 5G. I literally press one button, turning on my mobile hotspot on my phone, and I can get my tablet instantly connected. So I don't really see it importance for a 5G model, that just means I have to pay more money for the tablet to work on the internet
What I like about the A9+ is the entertainment value it offers for the price. I am a mainstream gamer of sorts but not on a tablet... But what this tablet does offer is still very huge. I can still run my Emulators NES, SNES and N64. My Bluetooth Xbox controller works just fine. But mostly I use this tablet for Content. RUclips, Netflix... etc. Still a great tablet for someone on the road a lot. I have the 8GB Ram and 128 Storage with a 512GB SD card for movies and more.
I always get the higher ram. I still have the 1st tab A. It has 2gb ram. I just bought the Galaxy tab s9. I went with the 256 gb storage with 12gb ram instead of the 128gb storage with 8gb ram.
The 8GB version is more that enough. IF you want to do more multi-tasking or run resource intense games set the refresh rate to 60hz it lets games play at higher settings AND you can get as much as 90 min more SoT. It really is a pleasant surprise in every possible way
I got the 4gb, and returned it. Because I notice while tapping on letters it was not as fast as I wanted it. Its on sale now, and is a 40 dollar difference for 4gb more. Enough to want to pay for that speed
Yeah the FE does have a little bit of a screen improvement, and a little bit more performance and an a pen. But there's a cost to upgrading obviously. The A9+ is good enough though for most especially with that extra ram
You've forgot to mention that Galaxy Tab A9+ like many other Samsung devices from 2022 or even earlier they have an extra function in Settings called RAMplus when you can add max 8GB extra virtual RAM memory by decreasing Flash memory capacity and that works great becuase I use it on my phone I know 64GB flash is not much in 4GB model but it as a MicroSD slot so that problem can be also solved easily
From my experience, just being honest, RAM Plus is a gimmick. I've heard some people even suggest it's even making devices slower. I haven't seen any noticeable improvements with it personally so that's why I don't mention it. Virtual RAM is slower than physical RAM. So it may store more apps in memory but it can still slow down your device. Android police suggests this too www.androidpolice.com/samsung-ram-plus-phone-how-to-disable/
Am considering the 4Gb A9+ and trying to take your review into account. I don't expect to use more than 2-3 open apps at a time (and seldom that many!), don't expect to play any high-end games, but will mostly stream videos and use my browser for email and articles. So my questions is--do browser tabs count as much as separate apps re memory? Because I often have more than 2-3 tabs open at the same time. Thanks!
I honestly think you would be fine with the 4 gb. If somehow you have issues with it, you could always return it and get the 8 gb. Whether it's amazon, samsung, best buy, they all have good return policies and they won't charge restocking fees. But feel free to check the links in the description and pick the right one for you. But I would definitely recommend the 4 GB model for you. You could have plenty of browser tabs open and not have issues depending on what's on those tabs
@@AndroidDigest Thank you SO MUCH for your prompt reply--and I want to compliment you on the fact that all your answers have been patient and kind, especially to us non-techies out here in the wilderness! You must be a hell of a nice guy!
Hello..I'm a truck driver and bought a tab A8 last year to use as GPS and also to play siriusxm on my truck..i have a lot of problems with it locking up and i have to wait for things to restart or shut down completely and restart..my ? Is would the a9+ be a good upgrade to get...I don't use it for anything else but those 2 things..thanks
I want the tablet purely for watching videos (RUclips, Netflix) and some minor games but still want it to last at least a few years. Do you think the 4gb is good enough?
Easy answer as far as 4GB of ram being a non-issue, just don't have a bunch of apps running in the background at the same time. I don't see why that's super essential for most people in the age of smartphones, tablets, and computers that are interconnected to phones so you can get your notifications there with Link to Windows. If I wanna multitask I will have one program open on my tablet, one program open on my phone, one window open on my left monitor, and one window open on my right monitor. I don't need 7 things running on my 4G of ram tablet. There's no reason why anyone 'needs' 8GB of ram, just don't be lazy and close out apps you aren't using lol. I don't think most people hold onto a tablet for more than a couple of years before they upgrade so I'm not concerned about 'future proofing'. I got the 5G 4GB ram / 64Gb model coming in Graphite from T-Mobile soon. Can't wait to throw tempered glass and a case on it and start customizing it! I'm coming from the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite
Now you need to have 3 devices running when you could have one? A tablet is a device for people who want a bigger screen for media or productivity but don't want something as bulky as a laptop. The 8gb version is not much more than the 4gb in price but it lets you get to bring out much more of the tablet capabilities.
It has a dex support so basically it becomes the laptop kind of in that case go for 8gb model it will be much much smoother and more productive with dex also 128 gb storage will be helpful 64 gb is less also you can gi to developer option and in that you can select install apps on sd card .with this it becomes your laptop specifically for those who work on documents and emails.
Great to have found your channel. Being disable, I am planning to use this tablet to most just video call my granddaughter. Getting one for her and one for me. Wound the 4g be fine for that? Video calls could be as much as a few hours at a time, Or would it be best to go 8g? Thank you
Oh that would be just fine for video calling. It wouldn't give you any issues at all. You will just need a Gmail account, and then you can download an app like Google meet. You could also video call on a Facebook Messenger if she has that
I think so! I would probably prefer a bluetooth keyboard to those terrible case+keyboard combos on amazon that are often low quality, but to each their own. I think you could get some basic stuff done with a keyboard on this.
For 100€ less I bought the 4gb version. My use cases are browsing the web, watching RUclips, playing OSRS, reading PDFs and maybe fiddling with some Google Sheets. I don't plan to have many tabs open at once. Do you think it will be fine?
I respect the heck out of the A9+ 128/8gb. About 200 bucks gets you a great tablet for basic tablet things, and best I can tell, it does them well enough that you really don't need any more. When Apple's cheapest tablet (available new today) is $30 more for a model with 64/3gb, on a smaller screen, no expandable memory, it makes it that much more impressive Samsung can offer you these specs for this price. Not that Apple's iPad 9 is a rip off or anything, its chip is twice as fast - but for the sorts of things I'd be doing on a tablet without a keyboard or stylus, the A9+ chip seems plenty. That said, I don't think it's for me. While I don't use the S Pen on my phone often, I like having the option. I also would like a larger screen, which the A series doesn't offer. I'm planning to get the S9+ FE soon, since it's available refurbished for $380. An extra $150 for a stylus, larger screen, better chip/speakers/display, and IP68? Based on Apple math we know the stylus is $130, so the display/chip/speaker improvements and IP68 must be a $20 upgrade - I'd be silly not to.
I'm happy with this comment. I want people to find the Right devices for them. And it sounds like you found exactly what you need. Like you, I normally want just a little more than the A9 plus even though it's pretty much enough for everyone. That brings you up to the Fe series, and at that point it's just about screen size. So it sounds like you are on the right track to get exactly what you need. And that's a super good Price refurbished. I got one from Best Buy for like 375 open box and that's when it was on sale for $500 new.
I just purchased the 8gb ram version. And I love it. I just traded in my iPhone for the razr plus flip and I really wanted to ditch my iPad and this is perfect
Im planning to buy a tab s9 my confusion is which one should i choose the 8gb or the 12 gb ram Variant as my main purpose is to take lectures and make notes simultaneously using mainly the split screen your suggestion is appreciated.
It's more than good enough for just watching RUclips videos. I wouldn't worry about what other people are saying. RAM only involves multitasking and opening up a bunch of applications at the same time. If you're really just going to RUclips, you're not going to fill up your RAM just watching RUclips, and no software, even one or two years down the line should change that
If you go to settings then Device Care then click on the Memory tab on the right that shows you how much memory is available. After that on the right bottom screen you will see RAM Plus which lets you use storage space as virtual memory of up to 8GB.
a9+ with 8gb ram is such a killer device for the money it's unbelievable. The screen is amazing, even the contrasts are great. Build quality feels really good and the price is amazing.
@@WhizKid_PRGdon't expect butter smooth ui animations but everything works great and steady. There's no lag or delay when I'm heavy multi-tasking between apps. It's really a computer when dex is enabled. Does much more than its price point, especially when compared to its bigger brothers.
i just orderd 4/64 with INR 10390 only.. mainly for pdfs and book reading and videos! (with such low specifications it will still hold 5 years with me)
Yeah it won't do much. It tries to use storage as a ram replacement. But then it's slow RAM. So it might lag more. It's not an actual replacement for RAM. Not worth using even imo. I turn it off
as an samsung s21 user, i bought the 4gb ram tab a9+ and was quite disappointed, knowing nothing about tablets, i only later found out there was an 8gb ram version, which is the only one i suggest buying, personally, the 4gb ram cant even keep up with the 90hz monitor, so i highly suggest to stay away from 4gb ram, its useless, unless u purely use it for youtube.
Only if you plan to use the service. They typically charge for service. So it adds up to the price of the tablet over 2 years anyway. And I'm guessing you'll pay the tax on the retail price+a activation fee. Add in 2 years at even $5 or $10 a month. It may cost more then the normal tab. But if you plan to use the service? Yes. Tremendous deal
Apps nowadays are only getting bigger and more complex. The tablet is overall faster too by a noticeable amount. (The Note 9 from 2018 had 8gig of ram.) Right now its $190 😮
I've heard about multitouch issues a couple times in my comments, just not something I experienced. It does decent with some basic games. I think most Android games are meant to be used on lower end hardware anyway. But I can't guarantee that for every game obviously. I didn't test the one you're talking about for example
Great video friend, I wanted to ask you a question, in the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, is it possible to expand the memory with a micro SD? Also, is samsung dex usable with these specs? Thanks in advance for answering these two questions.
Yes, Samsung Dex is usable. You can expand to the storage, not the ram. The ram, it will allow you technically in the settings to use virtual ram, which uses your storage. I believe to help your ram but it doesn't really do much. The bottom line is, yes, you can add an SD card, but you can't install everything on the SD card. Movies on Netflix that you might download, those might be things that you can put on the SD card. Or songs from Spotify, most apps will allow you, if you download things, to specify the location, so the SD card is mainly going to help you if you install a bunch of media like that
That's a tough call. And I really think it depends on what you value. Remember the s7fe is the bigger device. And that will mean a lot to some people. It also comes with an spen. But I believe it's all out of Android updates. And the tab a9 plus I believe is going to have two more updates and 4 years of security updates. I would say they're pretty close in speed. The screen quality might be a little better on the s7fe but the refresh rate is better on the a9 Plus. It's a really close call honestly. I tend personally to care a lot about software updates so I would probably go with the a9 Plus. But I can understand someone caring a little bit less about that and preferring the bigger device with the stylus. I did all of this with voice texting. So if anything came out bad, my bad
Is this relevant today(2025) . I am on the fence and wondering if i should look for even more ram than the 8gb? Your insight would be great, thanks in advance and thanks for sharing your thoughts and real world scenarios!!
You don't need more than 8 GB of RAM for a budget tablet. Some hiring users are going to want more for sure. But it's more than enough for a budget user. Even 6 GB would be enough
@AndroidDigest awesome reply.. I have a few gadgets like the ps portal that i like but the lack of media streaming and social medi really hinders it as a daily driver for consumption.
I don't trust your opinion. How can I believe that you are objective if there are purchase links for the tablet in the video description? For example, when you discussed the 4GB version, you said several times that it's a fast, responsive model. The only flaw is that it can't handle many open applications, suggesting that closing applications is sufficient. However, other RUclipsrs have explained how the tablet becomes laggy and annoying to use as soon as you do some simple multitasking.
I've got a fully updated review on the Tab A9+ coming out tomorrow. I released it today but audio was only coming out of one ear! Had to take it down, sadly I'm going to lose some of those initial views, feel free to check it out if you're interested!
I guess I don't get why that's a big deal? Different fast charging technologies may charge at different volts but either way, the way to measure speed is normally through the watts
I wanna buy the normal A9, because I love the iPad Mini size. It is harder to find the 8GB RAM model, it’s easier to just go to the 4GB. You think it makes sense buying the 8GB in this cheaper tablet. I’m going to play some games and some socials 🤔
I've got the 8gb ram in black in my opinion the black looks the nicest but everyone has there own opinion and I only use it for movies RUclips and music but eather way I love it hands down best budget tablet out there Highley recommend it 🥰🥰🥰
Hey, I have found the tab A9 with 128/8 gb ram for 180 Euro and the new tab S6 lite 2024 with 64/4 gb for 269 Euro which I should buy? Tab s6 lite 2024 have the Exynos 1280 while Tab A9 has Helio G99
@@AndroidDigest I had the Tab A9+ 1 month ago and I had multi touching issues other users of the tablet has the same issues because of that i have the both options between Tab s6 lite 2024 and Tab a9
Superb video and beautiful tablet 👍 Personally, and following your advice among others, I opted for the S8 when my choice was between the S9FE and the S9. The S8 is great 👍
@@AndroidDigest Thank you very much 👍 I bought it new in the store in a pack with the book cover without the keyboard. I'm discovering it and I'm delighted, I'm not specialized in technology and I still have to learn how to control it because for me it's like a Ferrari or a Porsche!
Honor has 120hz, so a slight edge maybe in hardware, they are all going to be extremely similar as far as hardware. I lean towards Samsung simply because of software. I also prefer Samsung DeX, so I lean that way. Also very readily available in the US. But it's very close. Honor has the hardware edge. Samsung is great with timely updates though, more timely than others typically, so I lean that way PERSONALLY, but wouldn't knock someone for getting any of them, all of them are close.
Hi @Android Digest ✌🏻 I'm starting a YT Channel for clips from my friends long YT live streams. Would this A9+ handle me downloading his 5-7hr lives, so I can then use something like CapCut or VN to clip parts to re upload to the new YT clip channel? I am a novice 🤦🏻♀️😂
Honestly, it's hard to say. I haven't done extensive testing with capcut on longer videos. And it also depends on if you're editing 1080P videos or 4K. If it was 1080p videos, I would think you would be okay, assuming you're just cutting it down and not adding footage on top of it. But I can't guarantee that. And the s9 Fe would probably be a little more of a sure bet. And if you do want to try the A9 Plus for it, I would get the 8 GB of RAM model
@@AndroidDigest Thank you so much for the reply, I really appreciate it 🤗 Hmmm ... I wonder if it has a recording function so I can just screen record the clips I need 🤔
So would the 4GB good enough for kids to game on? Looking to replace older fire tablets, but don't want to get something that will be slow within a year.
To be honest I think all tablets are going to be a little slower after a year. The 8 GB of RAM will help if your little worried about it. But I would always recommend just doing a little bit of a factory reset after a year and starting things over. Ram won't really affect if something is slow a year from now or not. But it can help future proof things a little bit.
@@AndroidDigest Thanks for the quick reply. I have a feeling I already know the answer but the kids are currently using the kids fire 8 2020 model and play roblox and marvel strike force. Even the 4gb version here should be a big upgrade for them?
Honestly, yes. I really would. If you find a really good sale on the S9 FE sometimes it goes on sale for $350 or so. That's a steal. But the A9+ goes on sale a lot
Well gaming needs a few things, processing power, gpu power, and ram. The extra ram won't change the other stuff. But it is an important factor and it will help. So it's nice to have. It's still going to play games on lower settings but it should be smoother overall
For anyone who cares: i bought the 64gb+4gb initially, and i wasn't impressed with the tablet. I returned it, and got the 128+8, now this is truely a completely different experience, it's much faster and theres alot less stutter. Sure its still a budget tablet, but a much more enjoyable experience, IMO: if 128+8 costs less than 80 more than the 64+4, then get it, its worth it.
I hope the apps are okay that display ratio it's either too big (app display) in a tablet mode and vertical - horizontal issue during landscape mode or desktop mode that I've experience in Samsung Dex desktop environment experience in Samsung Tab S8 device. This lead to the videos and pictures that are too big to view that sometimes you couldn't see the play button in the middle of the video or either the bottom of the reel video or picture. This is what I experience in facebook apps, web browser apps, reddit app, instagram, threads and so on.
You can go to the advanced lab settings and you can play around with each app. To make sure it works in landscape mode, but you could also put that you just wanted to work in the normal app ratio rather than the full screen,. There are a few different settings you have there, but it's better than other tablets like the OnePlus pad, a tablet like that just automatically throws those apps into portrait mode
@@AndroidDigest okay...I didn't know about that they have advance lab settings which is supposed to be in just a settings. It's getting confusing and complicated nowadays compare to Tab S6 series. Anyways, thanks for the info. I'll do check it out. Thanks!
Depending on the game it could help a little bit. It does depend on the game. It can't help a little bit. But I wouldn't think it would be that significant in most games
Yes. Massive massive massive improvement. I haven't seen that much of a jump in one generation in a long time. I don't mean to hype it up like crazy, the truth is, the A8 was just very very bad with performance. I didn't tear it down in my review because it's still okay for some basic stuff. But it's very very slow. This is much better. The s9fe would be a huge huge upgrade for you. But if you can't swing it, the A9 plus is still a pretty massive upgrade this year. About the same screen quality, but a 90 HZ refresh rate and a much faster processor
The S6 lite runs Android 14 & UI 6.0. Still a very enjoyable tablet. Yet the A9+ (8/128) is a much zippier experience. Maybe skip a generation and wait for the S9 FE to be discounted (8Gb RAM). A S6 lite 2024 version is imho just rumour nobody can back up. The S9 FE is the new S6 lite and the A9+ sits more or less inbetween (no pen no IP).
Well I can't right now just because of a ton of videos! But I'll say the S7 FE is definitely a better tablet overall, and a tablet I'd recommend more, with that being said, it may be out of software updates (or it's close) and I'd recommend the S9 FE if you can find a good sale/open box deal through best buy.
One question....I am planning to buy the 8GB of RAM model......My question is: Does de 4GB of RAM last the same in battery life than the 8GB of RAM version? Please let me know.
No. While this may be able to use "virtual RAM". To be honest, I find that its pretty useless. RAM is RAM and using storage for RAM is not all that effective. Some people even find their devices are faster if they turn those features off. All that to say. I just wouldn't recommend it, even if the tablet allowed you to use SD card storage for virtual RAM
I just Ordered the 8gb Ram one. Because I want to use this to dedicate and watch all The different podcasts and videos I watch And 4 GB Ram may be good for a child but definitely not for me LO. L. It is a very good price for 8 GB of Ram. And 128 of storage.
The a 9 plus with 4 GB. Would that do Roblox? I found one with 4gb good price for my nine year old grand son, im Computer illiterate so I don't even know what to look for
I got the 4gb of ram one cause I couldent find a 8gb one on sale in UK and I dont think its worth the extra £40 when most of the time all im doing is watching videos. I say its a good upgrade from my Huawei mediapad m3 lite though, used to run good but now can only run videos smooth at 480p.
The RAM only matters with gaming, since it may use all your RAM at once. Or intensive applications. Or when storing apps in memory. Like being able to have 5 apps open and go back and forth between them without reloading, vs 12 apps. Ram helps with making sure you won't have to re load the apps. The processor makes sure everything loads faster the first time. And reloads faster when it does reload. I'd pick the more powerful device with less RAM personally. I'd pick the A9+ but it's pretty close. The A9+ has a better gpu for gaming. Better performance. And a similar screen. I'd go a9+. Even with less RAM.
I'm thinking of buying the tab a9+ 128GB version with my tax refund money. I currently have the A7 32GB. Would you say it's a performance improvement I would notice?
@@AndroidDigest So I ended up buying the 128Gb and so far it's amazing. My only complaint is that dex isn't as useful as I thought it was going to be. If I have a video on a tv app running and another window pops into the foreground it doesn't let the video on the background window continue to play. Other than that it's great.

RUclips, Netflix... etc. Still a great tablet for someone on the road a lot. I have the 8GB Ram and 128 Storage with a 512GB SD card for movies and more.
Sounds awesome for your needs. I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's definitely great for entertainment
I always get the higher ram. I still have the 1st tab A. It has 2gb ram. I just bought the Galaxy tab s9. I went with the 256 gb storage with 12gb ram instead of the 128gb storage with 8gb ram.
8GB is plenty for this tab and it works great!
@@AndroidDigest no doubt👍
How's the tab s9?
@@tevii3514 I love the S9 great screen, very fast processor, GPU, and 12g. Ram its very fast.
I have tab s7 4g 6ram 128 giga.i would like to upgrate but not to spend much money for tab s9.is it worth to buy a9+ with 8ram instead of s7 tab?
The 8GB version is more that enough. IF you want to do more multi-tasking or run resource intense games set the refresh rate to 60hz it lets games play at higher settings AND you can get as much as 90 min more SoT.
It really is a pleasant surprise in every possible way
But what about the 4GB model?
@@wizzgamergood luck
I got the 4gb, and returned it. Because I notice while tapping on letters it was not as fast as I wanted it. Its on sale now, and is a 40 dollar difference for 4gb more. Enough to want to pay for that speed
Yes. I would definitely say it's worth it for pretty much anyone at that price
Doesn't bother me
I’ve been on the fence for A9 Or FE because of ram!! Good to know the 128gb has 8gb ram!! I can happily settle with the A9+ it seems!!
Yeah the FE does have a little bit of a screen improvement, and a little bit more performance and an a pen. But there's a cost to upgrading obviously. The A9+ is good enough though for most especially with that extra ram
Thank you for the vids on the Samsung A9+. I just purchased the A9+ w/8gb RAM.
I think you'll really enjoy it! It's a great budget tablet for sure
Great video! I got the 8 gig model on Amazon for 219 overnight shipping and 5 payments of 44.00 month . I think I will need the extra ram 😊
Enjoy it!
4Gb of ram is not enough, period. Will 4gb work? Yes. Will it be slow? Heck yeah. Not worth it.

Thanks for the Comparison!!! 👍😁
Glad to help
I want the tablet purely for watching videos (RUclips, Netflix) and some minor games but still want it to last at least a few years. Do you think the 4gb is good enough?
Yeah
Yeah this is at least a little bit of an upgrade from that tablet. Hope you enjoy it!
I agree. The extra ram helps
Man would this be good for content creation and video editing? And which cheaper one would you advise for a second option? Infinix x pad?
Great to have found your channel.
Being disable, I am planning to use this tablet to most just video call my granddaughter.
Getting one for her and one for me. Wound the 4g be fine for that? Video calls could be as much as a few hours at a time,
Or would it be best to go 8g?
Thank you
Oh that would be just fine for video calling. It wouldn't give you any issues at all. You will just need a Gmail account, and then you can download an app like Google meet. You could also video call on a Facebook Messenger if she has that
Bought this tablet for media consumption and playing games. Able to connect my ps5 dual sense controller to it and play games
This is definitely great for that!
Can you connect your controller with usb c
Real talk while also being mindful of everyone's needs, expectations, and for some, limitations. ✌🏽
Would this be good for adding a keyboard for a little portable laptop with keyboard add on?
I think so! I would probably prefer a bluetooth keyboard to those terrible case+keyboard combos on amazon that are often low quality, but to each their own. I think you could get some basic stuff done with a keyboard on this.
Very good easy to understand video.
Thanks so much
For 100€ less I bought the 4gb version. My use cases are browsing the web, watching RUclips, playing OSRS, reading PDFs and maybe fiddling with some Google Sheets. I don't plan to have many tabs open at once. Do you think it will be fine?
That's a good amoutn of money to save. I think it will definitely be fine. Feel free to update me though, I think you'll enjoy it
I respect the heck out of the A9+ 128/8gb.
Thank you so much for this simple review ❤
Hello sir
How is its performance. Display Quality, Audio sound Quality, battery backup.
Got to watch the full review. I go over most of that. Didn't go over the audio quality. But that's pretty good too!
@@AndroidDigest is 4gb goid for only watching youtube video or better with 8gb? Thanks
Does the 4 GB RAM have a micro SD slot for more storage capability?
Thank you! Great info
Thank you so much
The SD 695 deserves 8Gb RAM. No worries with future apps, games and Android updates as the amount of aplications open.

a9+ with 8gb ram is such a killer device for the money it's unbelievable. The screen is amazing, even the contrasts are great. Build quality feels really good and the price is amazing.
Hey just want to know if there are any lag or jitters and how it feels as a tablet? Planning to buy one
(with such low specifications it will still hold 5 years with me)
I just want to ask what does the option ram plus will do if i have a 4 gb ram one and i increase to 6gb
Yeah it won't do much. It tries to use storage as a ram replacement. But then it's slow RAM. So it might lag more. It's not an actual replacement for RAM. Not worth using even imo. I turn it off
Thank you for the detailed reviews on the tab. Waited and picked up the 8GB model on sale for $150 in India. 😁
Thank you! It means a lot
as an samsung s21 user, i bought the 4gb ram tab a9+ and was quite disappointed, knowing nothing about tablets, i only later found out there was an 8gb ram version, which is the only one i suggest buying, personally, the 4gb ram cant even keep up with the 90hz monitor, so i highly suggest to stay away from 4gb ram, its useless, unless u purely use it for youtube.
Do you think the 4GB Ram model is worth it for free on a tablet plan through tmobile?
Only if you plan to use the service. They typically charge for service. So it adds up to the price of the tablet over 2 years anyway. And I'm guessing you'll pay the tax on the retail price+a activation fee. Add in 2 years at even $5 or $10 a month. It may cost more then the normal tab. But if you plan to use the service? Yes. Tremendous deal
@AndroidDigest i did get it with the plan. I'm using it as a media consumption device for my daughter. Pushing 30GB already for the month
Apps nowadays are only getting bigger and more complex. The tablet is overall faster too by a noticeable amount. (The Note 9 from 2018 had 8gig of ram.) Right now its $190 😮
Can the 4GB, 64GB model run roblox if i turn the settings down?
hi is there any problem with playing games such as Brawl Stars etc.. ? i read about multi Touch screen's errors ?
I've heard about multitouch issues a couple times in my comments, just not something I experienced. It does decent with some basic games. I think most Android games are meant to be used on lower end hardware anyway. But I can't guarantee that for every game obviously. I didn't test the one you're talking about for example
Did either 4 or 8 begin crashing or not responding to touch?
I didn't have that ever happen. But if anyone else has hopefully they will comment for you
Great video friend, I wanted to ask you a question, in the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM, is it possible to expand the memory with a micro SD? Also, is samsung dex usable with these specs? Thanks in advance for answering these two questions.
Yes, Samsung Dex is usable. You can expand to the storage, not the ram. The ram, it will allow you technically in the settings to use virtual ram, which uses your storage. I believe to help your ram but it doesn't really do much. The bottom line is, yes, you can add an SD card, but you can't install everything on the SD card. Movies on Netflix that you might download, those might be things that you can put on the SD card. Or songs from Spotify, most apps will allow you, if you download things, to specify the location, so the SD card is mainly going to help you if you install a bunch of media like that
Just wondered is the s9fe base model a good tablet
Very good. I reviewed it separately
Would you get the Tab A9 plus or the S7 FE?
Hello, my English is a bit weak, I did not understand the video very well. Is there much difference between the two options?
Only when you have a lot of applications running at the same time. If you like to run a lot of apps or games at the same time. Get the 8gb model
Go for 8gb version.
Is it a big deal and Will there be a big difference?
However, other RUclipsrs have explained how the tablet becomes laggy and annoying to use as soon as you do some simple multitasking.
very fair and reasonable review. Thanks a bunch!
Thanks! Appreciate it
Thank you for the review, very helpful. My best wishes.

Hello do this tablet support 9v charging or 5v?
I guess I don't get why that's a big deal? Different fast charging technologies may charge at different volts but either way, the way to measure speed is normally through the watts
@@AndroidDigest Can the 64gb handle RUclips Googe Gmail and Rocket League or do i need 128gb

Between honor pad x9 , redmi pad SE, Samsung a9+
What’s your pick?
Honor has 120hz, so a slight edge maybe in hardware, they are all going to be extremely similar as far as hardware. I lean towards Samsung simply because of software. I also prefer Samsung DeX, so I lean that way. Also very readily available in the US. But it's very close. Honor has the hardware edge. Samsung is great with timely updates though, more timely than others typically, so I lean that way PERSONALLY, but wouldn't knock someone for getting any of them, all of them are close.
Where i live, only the 4/64 gets the discounts sadly. I m looking at the 5g model and i can t decide if its worth it
It's a tough call
@AndroidDigest got the a9 4g model for like 99 euros and so far it s great for youtube and netflix/disney+
Hi @Android Digest ✌🏻
I'm starting a YT Channel for clips from my friends long YT live streams.

Would think the 4GB Version is enough for Game Emulation?

Nicely explained video
Would you say for 250 to 300 this is the best tablet for youtube movie watching and checking my cameras at home and some gaming
Honestly, yes. I really would. If you find a really good sale on the S9 FE sometimes it goes on sale for $350 or so. That's a steal. But the A9+ goes on sale a lot
The ram is not the problem its the cpu that matters and both versions have the same cpu
So this tablet with 8GB Ram is good for occasional gaming and movies?
Well gaming needs a few things, processing power, gpu power, and ram. The extra ram won't change the other stuff. But it is an important factor and it will help. So it's nice to have. It's still going to play games on lower settings but it should be smoother overall
@@AndroidDigest Witch tablet to buy at 250-350€ for occasional gaming and movies?
Thanks!

I might need to at some point. Getting a lot of requests 🤣
Does higher RAM make gaming performance stronger in terms of graphics and frame?
Depending on the game it could help a little bit. It does depend on the game. It can't help a little bit. But I wouldn't think it would be that significant in most games
I have the A8 64gb... is trash, is slow as hell these days, it is this A9+ a real improvement?

No. While this may be able to use "virtual RAM". To be honest, I find that its pretty useless. RAM is RAM and using storage for RAM is not all that effective.
Good point!
Tab A9+ with 4/64 gb better than the redmi pad SE 8/255? Does ram matter a lot ? Otherwise I think Samsung A9+ is better in all other aspects
My Tab S6 Lite from 2020 just recently died on me so im definitely getting the 8gb version of the A9+
This or Lenovo tab plus?
If a similar price Lenovo Tab Plus. Comes with a kickstand and better speakers
I'm thinking of buying the tab a9+ 128GB version with my tax refund money. I currently have the A7 32GB. Would you say it's a performance improvement I would notice?
Absolutely. A huge huge upgrade. Check my full review. I think it's pretty major even from the A8
@@AndroidDigest So I ended up buying the 128Gb and so far it's amazing. My only complaint is that dex isn't as useful as I thought it was going to be. If I have a video on a tv app running and another window pops into the foreground it doesn't let the video on the background window continue to play. Other than that it's great.
