my ultimate favorite movie, ever. God bless Nolan he's become my top personal director too. the story, script, sound design, VFX, and soundtrack is just sublime.
I still think The Prestige is his true masterpiece, but nobody really talks about it unfortunately

@@TheLevitatingFleem Is just that TDK Inception and Interstellar are so epic that overshadow his other work, especially The Prestige or Memento.
Mr. Nolan was so impressed with the outcome of the city bending scene that he put that huge tidal wave scene in Interstellar

When I heard Inception wasn’t shot on IMAX 70MM I was very disappointed. Unlike his IMAX shot films like The Dark Knight and Tenet the movie wouldn’t fill IMAX screens to full capacity which I felt would take away the immersion. But when rewatching Inception, I tried envisioning it with aspect ratio changes for select scenes. And honestly I understood where Nolan was coming from in his decision to shoot on 35MM all throughout. This helped capture the reality of dreams instead of their extraordinary nature and aspect ratio changes definitely would’ve messed with that.
At least key scenes were indeed shot in 65mm, and some others in vistavision, which does allow it to scale nicely to a 4k edition.
This and Doctor Strange are my favorite movies of all time besides Twister

This is how the mirror dimension in doctor strange was inspired
mirror dimention is old comcept, probleny less known exsmple, whole kamen rider ryuki (which also got attapted to english) relays on mirror world and monsters coming out of it
Fun fact: Nolan actually bend Paris to get that shot. Some say the apocalyptic damages it caused were too much, but I think it's worth it to get a good shot.

Funny timing, I actually did it today. I happened to have a lucid dream and I did it instinctively. I didn't do it to this extent like in the movie, just a fragment of the street I was on, but it absolutely works and it did bend to the point of being upside down lol.
@@AbaddonDrums bruh when i lucid dream i turn into all kinds of superheros lol, i can control the my world pretty well. and it is an amazing fucking feeling when i fly sky high at super speeds. And not to mention ofc about having sex, sometimes i forget to lucid dream having sex and when i wake up i get really dissapointed that i forgot
@@classix568 Yup, excitement can really get in the way, I always forget to do my stabilization routine and I go straight to having fun but that makes the whole dream collapse really fast. ;-;

@@classix568 endgame was awful and is definitely one of the worst marvel movies ever made, on the contrary, infinity war is the best marvel film made and one of the best movies in general, just my opinion, most people I know love endgame👍🏽
