👉 Course Description
Daedunsan Surak Valley, a recommended place to visit in Nonsan, Chungcheongnam-do. This is a recommended place for climbing Daedunsan Mountain. Surak Valley, along the Daedunsan Valley, is cool even in midsummer. The deck road walking just above it is a trekking course that provides various attractions such as Seonnyeo Falls, Cone Rock, and Surak Falls.
The road to the top from Surak Falls is a steep climb. If you follow it, you can meet Gunji viaduct, Macheondae at the top, Nagjodae, Seokcheonam.
Daedunsan, which was also selected as one of the 100 Black Yak Mountains. We recommend the Surak Valley Course as a trekking course for your trekking trip in korea.
👉 Course Summary
At the beginning of the climb, you pass through a paved road with thick trees and follow the deck road that runs along the Surak Valley. After that, the steep slope continues to the summit.

It is a flat road, so it is enough to prepare comfortable walking shoes and a little drinking water.

At the beginning, it is an easy road to the Surak Valley deck road, but after that, a steep slope continues to the summit.
✅ Attraction [★★★★☆]
Surak Valley, Surak Falls, Macheondae, Seonnyeo Falls, Nakjodae, etc. The majestic shape of the strangely shaped cliffs of Daedunsan is so beautiful that it arouses admiration. The superb view of the strange rock formations makes you feel the mysticism of Mother Nature with a landscape painting.

There are toilets only at the starting point of the climb. There are no store, so you have to prepare water and food in advance.
