A good tip with cypher is that when rotating and you want to check your cam, you can jump and while mid-air quickly open and close your cam. This won't make you stop as you will midair, allowing you to rotate a bit faster and if you do spot anyone with the cam, they will appear on your mini map.
Cool tip: place trip wires on head level when standing up when fighting fade or skye to avoid trips being triggered by summons. This is usually used on site, but on lurk areas keep at waist level.
Tips for cyphers: -On attack, put a flank trip at crouch head height, this gives flank awareness without any more investment, just make sure they cant jump over it with a box. -put cams as high as possible, how high you can put it is dependant on your bodys position so if you are higher, so can your cam be (including jump). -learn essential oneways. some oneways require the enemy team to reroute or specifically counter your strat and can give free kills for at least 1 round. for example, a defense oneway on b garagae on split has enormous power and is just free kills with the right setup. -identify and use the knowledge of what your trips do. I identify trips by either 1. information trips or 2. kill trips. information trips are trips that need to be broken or walked trough and cannot be passed otherwise because its at head height and its only purpose is to hold that area. Kill trips are trips often combined with wallbang or a cage. you should aim to make these hard to see and destroy. after all, if someone jumps over them, that is already a sound cue for you to swing off if you want. -use camera for sound. Camera basically functions as a player, mimicking minimap info on vision, hearing capability etc. this means you can put your cam near a wall in a way it isnt visible, but the cam is still near where you want to hear enemies. this can help identify plants on site, hear rotates or call out a push earlier then initiators even can. advanced: -cage swing. if you time your swing and cage you get a little but of vision on the enemy before it goes up, which can allow you to spray them without any extra information. -learn multiple possible setups on each map and be creative with it. if you play the same setup every round you will become predictable very fast and end up getting your setup countered. Thats about it for what i can think of of the top of my head. if you want to know something, just ask here :)
@@Texting_stories54321 first of all, map dependant. but general tips, try to find out if they shoot or use util to break the trip. if its util, place trips much deeper into site or cage/ask for smoke and place trips after the util has been thrown. if its shot down, try placing your trips low or make the ends of your trips be behind cages. popping cages earlier can also prevent them breaking it. if despite everything they still break them, just throw a trip main and mid, call them infotrips and go along
you are genuinely one of the nicest RUclipsrs i watch. every time i come across your channel i instantly get on a binge streak, even with old clips. you rly help my mood every day and i wish you'd upload more often just so i could enjoy your content more through the week. thank you for making content on this dumb site and being so positive all the time.
My advice on trip 3:58: face the other wall and walk a little left so that the trip gets placed as well in those tree ramifications. That way, if the lurker gets hit and walks back in panic, he will have a harder time destroying the trip, since its now what i usually call a "50/50" tripwire :) Same rule applies in trip 3:25.
Little tip for cyphers trips, when placing them, they have a hitbox in which they can be destroyed. There are two hitboxes, it’s the little ends of the trips. Instead of placing a trip with both ends exposed to the enemy, place the trip behind a box or behind something so they can’t break it. Hope this makes sense
3:40 It could be because of fog of war (the one to counter hacker using ESP) since the game still think he is far away from sage due to "Rito moment" so that why Sage is invisible for Reyna
It’s good to see someone to try out cypher although people are starting to be inpatient with this character. I learn most of my mistakes but sadly I always suck at aim a little bit, but I am getting better. I love playing cypher because of kit is map control.
Cypher tip: Since you are not using trips on attack you can use them outside of b main and a main before the round (a main and c main for lotus and haven) to get more info.
at 3:04, a better think u can do is to place the trip near the extrance to the site so when the enemys to push even if they break the trip they will be stuck in the open, i usually put them VERY low so that they dont notice when entry and a very high one so that the annoying jett does not updraft and dash in.
Tip for spaming from your Cypher cage - use phantom, spectre or ghost. It leaves no tracers, so you cant be spammed back One more trip - try to put your trips right behind the doorway, so enemy have no chance to shoot your trip and dont get into it. For example hookah on Bind, from box towards B site and wall towars atackers barrier And one more tip for your cam - try to put it above the doorframes, for example split B heaven, exit of mail. Your cam invisible from mail and gets info about all of heaven. Same on A and on lots of different places on other maps. YOu can find some setups online ___ 5:32 - hahah, you got me :D
What amazes me is that most of these kills are won with gamesense and positioning. Majority of the kills arent even headshots yet he manages to get into diamond/asc. Very impressive 👍🏽
I just faced you two days ago on Bind. It was my uprank game to Ascendant and I played Sage. In the end we won 13:8 and I was MVP with 25 frags haha. Anyways I recently found your channel keep up the good work I really enjoy your content :D
good tip with cypher : on site place your traps low unless they got a drone like abillity like wingman or boombot nothing more frustrating then losing your trap to a boombot
Mr lowlander: sometimes place your traps low Me putting a vertical/diagonal trap perpendicular to another: my goals are beyond your understanding Note: this has worked a few times and left a few enemies confused on wtf a cypher is doing placing a trap like that as I kill them. Its hilarious
the tip where you place trips while crouching is specifically good for watching flanks, to make sure they cant flank without you knowing, when tripping main it wont matter as much since they can’t easily crouch or jump over trips, since the trips should catch them off guard when entering
My first time watching this channel And I am a crazy brazilian, in 1:25 the little dutch fish said "Ai Caramba" that is a brazilian slang, and was the last thing that I was expecting to hear in this vídeo dkdhdkdjdkdj
I have a tip for placing aggro trips on attack: when placing a trip, place a cage in the choke point first. Then put the trip in the cage, so the enemies won't see it being put down this almost always works
Cool and stupid tip: place the camera right on top of the spike after plant, if there' a smoke or u could use your own smoke(not really recommend) ping the defuser and shoot their asses, shoot a dart is fine but i dont want them to leave the spike, lose a cam for info but worth trying sometimes.
putting your trips low on defense can be good, but if the enemy has a Raze/Gekko/Skye/Fade you want to put it at the usual crouching-eye level (or a bit higher), so their roomba/wingman/dog/prowler goes underneath and doesnt break it
ngl, not really, all setups and trips are actively worse then what i use as a s3, not knowing a ton of oneways (most notably windows and showers on bind and any oneway on a split), at least some head level trips, mediocre use of cams (not high enough, doesnt give good info, doesnt use the sound part of cams actively)
depend on your enemy , you can adjust the height of your wire since someone like raze or skye can clear your lower trap and someone like sova or fade usually clear your hgher trap. well it's your choice to choose what util you want to block (but I did hate raze double jump that clear wire trap by default) also I like using phantom with cypher , it has a lit of benefit
If you jump on the top of the purple thing in the middle of Pearl A site you can place your camera above the balcony on the yellow building. If you place it at the correct height you can see the ult orb with it.
Here is a tip , always change ur set up in different site depending on how the enemy plays , for example when they enter A site and *lose* change ur set up to the opposite site as players usually tend to do that
best ways for cypher to control the game is have 2 or 3 on cypher site for a complete lockdown, making them wary of that site and then have cypher solo hold that site after. this allows for more players to be on other sites and guarantees cypher util has some use even if they dont come. other scenario is where you try to read the site theyll go on and setup accordingly. and always change your setups unless they have no braincells, they will counterplay with smokes, prefiring trips etc otherwise
I have question : you did say you chose cypher over raze cus you didn't wanted to play 2 sentinals together, nd picked up raze to switch things up but after the longgg session, do u regret it ?
How can you rank up so easily when I am trying to reach silver 1 I can't because of bad teammates and I got a lose streak every time so what's your tactics against that problem?
I actually got the invisible enemy glitch one time. All you can see is their gun and my teammates were also invisible, besides their weapons and their nametags. Realy annoying, but it wore off the next round.
How do you get out of RR hell? I'm 40 matches in, rarely have an off game, usually finish top 3 but can't get above 15/17 RR. Last episode i pushed from s3 to p3 and i'd get 30 plus RR for playing well. Now if I get a prof bonus (which is rarely, even when I drop 36 kills). I got played g1 and after 40+ matches am at 52 winrate. It's frustating.
