- Here is another step in the engine building series we are doing. This is another "how to" or "DIY" video outlining the process of installing freeze plugs. This is a step by step video that requires common hand tools, a little bit of time, and focus. We are using @MellingEngineParts freeze plugs because they are a quality product made right here in the USA. This step by step process will be done on a 1970 Chevrolet LT1 350 engine block.

Jimmy!!!!!!!!!!😁
Yep!! The book of engine knowledge!
First time viewer - great stuff! Love the LT1, had one in my '71 Z28. Maybe one day...
I gotta be careful though, with my luck if I set the container of Permatex on the block, I would have knocked it over and made a mess to clean off or at the very least dribbled the goo all over!
Looking forward to viewing more vids! Thanks!!
Welcome aboard! Agreed, the LT1 is a great engine!
Use a big socket next time. Works great.
Done that many times 🏁🏁
🥝✔️☝️😊 LT-1 370 HP 350...First car I passengered in with four others at 110 mph, put in a 63 Chev Bel Air

You guys are really plugging away on that block.

FEEEEEEEEEEEEESH!
always bugs me when people can not align the lettering on the plug with the block...only takes two seconds to do it right
@@flatbeavergarage7692 🤣🤣🤣🤣 where is it “right” to have the latter lined up? It’s a round plug in a round hole! Thanks for laugh my friend 🤣🤣🤣
I have a 71 Monte Carlo 350. Is the freeze plugs on the backside of the engine for the coolant?
there are 2 freeze plugs for coolant and one cam cam plug in the back
what are those “freeze plugs” for? hack
🤣🤣🤣🤣 it’s two hacks, get it right
