Wow! You are such an organized person. I use the same system of numbering my boxes and writing out a master list, but not for Christmas items. It is so easy to find what you’re looking for and saves so much time. I just never thought of doing it with Christmas. Thanks for giving the tour. You said you’d like ideas of what to post. I would suggest taking us on trips to places you like. Maybe you visit a local garden center, a beautiful park you enjoy, or when it gets warmer how you spruce up the outside yard. It could be a book you’re going to start reading. People follow your channel because they like you and your lovely wife. Putting up videos is a lot of work so don’t be too hard on yourselves. We will enjoy your videos when you want to post them and don’t feel overwhelmed. With the pandemic it has been great to find nice people like you and your wife. Although we will never meet, you’ve brightened our lives by sharing a snipet of yours.

It is so great you have a large attic to store away stuff. We have a basement and it is full of decorating items, our adult kids childhood memories and half of the basement is a guest/airplane room for my hubby. But decorating totes have started to drift in there so time to unclutter. Think many of us ( especially "older" more vulnerable ) adults have been going through so much loneliness and lack of activity we get discouraged. Truly decorating has been my saving grace. Would love to see you paint or discuss how you come up.with your themes for holidays. I have only watched since Covid but maybe a question and answer video on the two of you. Plus more decorating and cooking. No matter what you share with us we will enjoy.

Bonjour Joe, I am so glad that I had time to watch this video and relax. You have a fantastic organisation of all your various décor. Very well done and easy to find things when you are planning a new decor. I have a storage room in which I use clear boxes (like yours) and all my baubles are separated by colors. Same goes for the garlands, and all the other things. This year, I added some shelving where I put all the vases, lamps, baskets, etc. etc. I would like a video where you talk about the preparation - all the technicality - if that makes sense. The choice of decor, the checking your storage to see if you have everything, the making of the lists (if needed), the DIY (when you need to do some). The time or should I say "scheduling" of all the process of getting things ready and started. I hope I did make sense here with this idea. (For me it is not easy to explain at times). Anyway, for now, take good care of yourself - my very best to Mary Ann as well (love to see her cook of course).

I think many of us have been feeling a little bit of the January blues lately, and add to that the worries with the virus and also the political events it's no wonder you didn't feel like filming. I truly enjoyed seeing your attic. I knew you were organized but I still marvel at your space. I have 22 bins for my Christmas decor. They are in my basement. I've recently gone through all of them and have gotten rid of about three bins' worth of stuff. I also have about four bins for fall/Halloween, three for Easter, and I think one for Valentine's Day. Oh, and there's one for the Fourth of July too. I also have many, many bins of my daughter's old toys and books. She just moved out and got her first job in July, but most of her bins stayed here with me. I think at some point I will need to go through many of these items to see if she still wants them. Thank you again for sharing your attic space. I enjoyed this video a lot! Future video ideas: If you do any craft projects, please film those. Also, in the early spring (March) maybe you could film how you clean up your garden/flower beds. Also, have you ever considered doing a live video chat? I don’t know where they get the merchandise from , because my store really didn’t have much of anything left . This has been a very stressful time for so many of us , we’re feeling very down too . It was fun to see your video pop up this afternoon. That is some amazing stand up attic , Joe ! You are so organized! My suggestions would be to keep doing the seasonal decor , not as extreme your Christmas Decor of course , but I think we all love to see your decorating expertise. Maryann in the kitchen is always a hit , but what about doing, sitting at the kitchen table Q & As from your subscribers over a cup of coffee . Miss Arlynn has been doing them , in between decorating, and it seems to be working out great for her . Speaking for myself and Keith , we love hearing your childhood memories, since their so familiar to us and heartwarming. Love your videos. The holiday decorating is exquisite. I would love to see more of Mary Ann's cooking videos. The stuffed peppers and the artichokes stuffed with breadcrumbs were so much like our family's favorites. I had a good moment as I realized my Italian family in Texas cooks just like your family in New Jersey.
Joe you’re a man after my own heart! I pictured your storage area would look like this. Neat and well organized. I loved seeing how you have it so organized into categories. I pretty much have the same set up as yours in my attic.. I have to keep it organized otherwise I get too overwhelmed and it’s not enjoyable . However, although I have a lot of decorations, I don’t have quite as much as you. I often tell my husband (who’s tired of hearing me say) that one day, when I’m gone, I can picture people saying ‘was this woman in some kind of catering/decorating business’ ! I do have a question tho about your attic, yours looks like a walk-in like mine but seemed warm while you were in there. , Mine is so frigid during the winter and so hot in the Summer, which is a real pain. I enjoy all your decorating and seeing when you and Maryanne interact. Stay well and stay safe..

I love your organization skills! Your attic is awesome! What a nice place to "shop your house". I also use totes to store my Christmas decor. Except I don't have that many totes, so mine can be stored in a bedroom closet. Our yard decorations are stored up in the mesineen in our garage. As are a lot of my wreaths. Extra lights and my Christmas village tree are in the garage as well. I enjoy everything that you video. You and MaryAnn make a great team.
Thanks for sharing this with us Joe. I always enjoy seeing how others organize and store their decor. I took a lesson from you this year by labeling and numbering my bins. I have a master sheet that also has all the same info as the bins on it. My Christmas decor is pretty easy to organize because I have certain things that go in certain rooms so I can store them that way. I also get asked all the time where do I store my stuff so I made my own little video this year showing my storage building. I store my everyday decor in my craft room and eventually I will do a tour of that.

Just watching and listening to you and MaryAnn perks me right up!I am dealing with a family member with Covid in my home and that is enough to put the icing on the doldrum cake lol!I am spending my days revamping my will and buying a plot in the cemetary for me lol...you know,the Irish are all about good funerals lolol! Love it Joe. I kinda do the same thing but in the basement. I have to put everything in bins no cardboard on the floor. It sometimes gets water in it. I have a room that is for bins and unfortunately the litter boxes. Lol.
I have a little section under my stairs thats covered with wood and has a door and i use my cabinets under my wall unit. So glad your bettrr Joe, Ive learned to take things slow and when i get overwhelmed I just stop and continue. When I can. I also stay away from the news for now. Happy NewYear the best of everything for both of you and your loved ones.
Organization: I also use a master list and number the bins. I have found the lids get separated while you are packing so to save time I number the bins and the lid that goes with that bin. It doesn't have to be the number you have for the content. Just a number somewhere on the bin and lid that matches. If you have that problem I hope this helps Nice job!

That is just incredible! I always imagined it would look something like this, but your organization is leaving me speechless. We both know when it comes to me that’s saying something..lol I can second your feeling down. Heartbroken and weary. We have to keep moving forward, one day at a time. You have a great storage system, Joe. I mark the outside of my bins but have never thought to make a master list. I just go by memory as to the specifics of what’s in each tub, which isn’t always accurate. I think I might take a page out of your book! I would love for you to do a Paint With Joe segment. I also enjoyed the video of you and Mary Ann traveling to the shore. Maybe you could give us a tour of points of interest in your area for those of us who have never seen your state. I, probably like many others, like your videos for YOU. It doesn’t matter what you’re doing, it’s just nice to see and hear from you.

I use bins but most are stored in my garage and I also have large closets out there that hold my Christmas trees and antique sleds and ice skates that I hang from nails in there. January and February is always a depressing time. Cold, cloudy and yulk out! Even down here in the south. I did get out and mow up leaves and things in the yard. That always makes me feel good! Maybe show some gardening vlogs outside would be a good idea. Y’all look very organized to me!

Wow, Joe, this is a great video! You have a wonderful storage area and it's so well organized! Sorry that you haven't been feeling quite like yourself. I think it's a hard time of year, on top of all of the worlds troubles. I spend Oct., Nov. and Dec on all Christmas related projects and then I find it hard to change directions after all of the Christmas things are packed up. You do kinda need some down time to relax and decide what projects sound good for over the winter. Hang in there! Be sure and get some fresh air everyday, it does help.

Bonjour Joe, I am so glad that I had time to watch this video and relax. You have a fantastic organisation of all your various décor. Very well done and easy to find things when you are planning a new decor. I have a storage room in which I use clear boxes (like yours) and all my baubles are separated by colors. Same goes for the garlands, and all the other things. This year, I added some shelving where I put all the vases, lamps, baskets, etc. etc. I would like a video where you talk about the preparation - all the technicality - if that makes sense. The choice of decor, the checking your storage to see if you have everything, the making of the lists (if needed), the DIY (when you need to do some). The time or should I say "scheduling" of all the process of getting things ready and started. I hope I did make sense here with this idea. (For me it is not easy to explain at times). Anyway, for now, take good care of yourself - my very best to Mary Ann as well (love to see her cook of course).

I think many of us have been feeling a little bit of the January blues lately, and add to that the worries with the virus and also the political events it's no wonder you didn't feel like filming. I truly enjoyed seeing your attic. I knew you were organized but I still marvel at your space. I have 22 bins for my Christmas decor. They are in my basement. I've recently gone through all of them and have gotten rid of about three bins' worth of stuff. I also have about four bins for fall/Halloween, three for Easter, and I think one for Valentine's Day. Oh, and there's one for the Fourth of July too. I also have many, many bins of my daughter's old toys and books. She just moved out and got her first job in July, but most of her bins stayed here with me. I think at some point I will need to go through many of these items to see if she still wants them. Thank you again for sharing your attic space. I enjoyed this video a lot! Future video ideas: If you do any craft projects, please film those. Also, in the early spring (March) maybe you could film how you clean up your garden/flower beds. Also, have you ever considered doing a live video chat? Maybe you and Mary Ann could go live on a Friday night and chat. That would be fun. Take care.

Miss Arlynn has been doing them , in between decorating, and it seems to be working out great for her . Speaking for myself and Keith , we love hearing your childhood memories, since their so familiar to us and heartwarming.

I would love to see more of Mary Ann's cooking videos. The stuffed peppers and the artichokes stuffed with breadcrumbs were so much like our family's favorites. I had a good moment as I realized my Italian family in Texas cooks just like your family in New Jersey.
Joe you’re a man after my own heart! I pictured your storage area would look like this. Neat and well organized. I loved seeing how you have it so organized into categories. I pretty much have the same set up as yours in my attic..
I have to keep it organized otherwise I get too overwhelmed and it’s not enjoyable . However, although I have a lot of decorations, I don’t have quite as much as you. I often tell my husband (who’s tired of hearing me say) that one day, when I’m gone, I can picture people saying ‘was this woman in some kind of catering/decorating business’ !
I do have a question tho about your attic, yours looks like a walk-in like mine but seemed warm while you were in there. ,
Mine is so frigid during the winter and so hot in the Summer, which is a real pain. I enjoy all your decorating and seeing when you and Maryanne interact. Stay well and stay safe..

I love your organization skills! Your attic is awesome! What a nice place to "shop your house". I also use totes to store my Christmas decor. Except I don't have that many totes, so mine can be stored in a bedroom closet. Our yard decorations are stored up in the mesineen in our garage. As are a lot of my wreaths. Extra lights and my Christmas village tree are in the garage as well. I enjoy everything that you video. You and MaryAnn make a great team.
Thanks for sharing this with us Joe. I always enjoy seeing how others organize and store their decor. I took a lesson from you this year by labeling and numbering my bins. I have a master sheet that also has all the same info as the bins on it. My Christmas decor is pretty easy to organize because I have certain things that go in certain rooms so I can store them that way. I also get asked all the time where do I store my stuff so I made my own little video this year showing my storage building. I store my everyday decor in my craft room and eventually I will do a tour of that.

Love it Joe. I kinda do the same thing but in the basement. I have to put everything in bins no cardboard on the floor. It sometimes gets water in it. I have a room that is for bins and unfortunately the litter boxes. Lol.

I have a little section under my stairs thats covered with wood and has a door and i use my cabinets under my wall unit. So glad your bettrr Joe, Ive learned to take things slow and when i get overwhelmed I just stop and continue. When I can. I also stay away from the news for now. Happy NewYear the best of everything for both of you and your loved ones.
Organization: I also use a master list and number the bins. I have found the lids get separated while you are packing so to save time I number the bins and the lid that goes with that bin. It doesn't have to be the number you have for the content. Just a number somewhere on the bin and lid that matches. If you have that problem I hope this helps Nice job!
I store the same way only not numbered. That's a great attic! Nice you can walk around! Mine are on shelves in the garage and very fragile items are stored in our guestroom closet. That is just incredible! I always imagined it would look something like this, but your organization is leaving me speechless. We both know when it comes to me that’s saying something..lol I can second your feeling down. Heartbroken and weary. We have to keep moving forward, one day at a time. You have a great storage system, Joe. I mark the outside of my bins but have never thought to make a master list. I just go by memory as to the specifics of what’s in each tub, which isn’t always accurate. I think I might take a page out of your book!
I would love for you to do a Paint With Joe segment. I also enjoyed the video of you and Mary Ann traveling to the shore. Maybe you could give us a tour of points of interest in your area for those of us who have never seen your state. I, probably like many others, like your videos for YOU. Hi joe. You are so lucky to have a great space. I have to store my seasonal in my garage. Just a tip, I put mail on the wood bins to hang my wreath. It makes it easier to store and find.I guess, I need to use all the space I can find. I live I Florida and the attic is small. Blessings

You are so organized. That is wonderful . You are lucky to have such a large place for storage. I use bins but most are stored in my garage and I also have large closets out there that hold my Christmas trees and antique sleds and ice skates that I hang from nails in there. January and February is always a depressing time. Cold, cloudy and yulk out! Even down here in the south. I did get out and mow up leaves and things in the yard. That always makes me feel good! Maybe show some gardening vlogs outside would be a good idea. Y’all look very organized to me!

Wow, Joe, this is a great video! You have a wonderful storage area and it's so well organized! Sorry that you haven't been feeling quite like yourself. I think it's a hard time of year, on top of all of the worlds troubles. I spend Oct., Nov. and Dec on all Christmas related projects and then I find it hard to change directions after all of the Christmas things are packed up. You do kinda need some down time to relax and decide what projects sound good for over the winter. Hang in there! Be sure and get some fresh air everyday, it does help.

OMG. That is awesome that you can keep it all at home. I have some of are Chirstmas things here at home up in are rafters in are garage the rest of are stuff is at my husbands shop where I have one side of it. I thought I had a lot you got me bet. Lol!! Thank goodness he has two separate shops in one building. Joe I know how you are feeling by heart has been broken with all of this stuff going on just know that god has a plan and we have to be believers in the lord. It's all in his hands.
