@jmateen1 the simple answer to that question is no, but rappers delight helped shape what hip hop is and ever was...plus musically the song is still a beast, lyrically yes it is elementary...the prob I have with many new artists is that ppl aren't being honest with them and it deflates hip hop as a whole ppl like gucci think they can rhyme and critics are afraid to tell them when they spit wac. I wish hiphop could be as honest as the NFL the product would be consistently better!!
