I personally prefer the Demonarchy side. I understand why Amen doesn't like it but I'm kinda glad with Kone in the picture, they could play all of the songs there and they'll probably create something similar in the future.
Demonarchy was sort of a rekindling, after Scare Force affirmed that the canonical Lordi is not coming back. It wasn't very Accept-y metal that you'd hope for, but I quickly found it impressive in its own league. Sexorcism then did a good job of perfecting this into a format that had both the heaviness and the poppiness. This Killection malarkey really put a spanner in that well-oiled machinery just as I learned to love the new Lordi. :D 2016 was the most exciting development since 2010 and rightfully gets a hearty episode (except for the ominous silence at the end).
I feel for Amen regarding Demonarchy, and I'm glad Mr. Lordi didn't make an issue out of it. I remember there being talks about them doing the whole Demonarchy-side live back when they toured the album, but knowing what was going on behind the scenes, I'm glad that never happened. As for which side is better, I'm leaning towards Theaterror, though Demonarchy-side was an interesting experiment. I wouldn't mind if they did Demonarchy part 2 in the future, as long as every member is comfortable doing it.
I personally love demonarchy i get amens point of view but i know they can pull this kind of shit off you know, and if people would ask me what lordi should sound like acording to theyre costumes i think you'll get a sexcorism album with a demonarchy sound and style like aboslute horror and gorey type of lyrics and a well more metal style of playing, i like lordi but the whole disco thingy with borderline and so is exactly my point of view like amens only amen doesnt like demonarchy and i dont like the whole disco 70's 80's type of sound it just doenst suit them for a reason idk its just not something i get in mind when thinking about lordi, hopefully we'll get another "boring lordi album" in 2022 because most of the time they are pretty good tbh
