Hello! Bestie here, just wanna throw it out there that those were a few of my all time favorite gifts to ever receive. For one, they're freakin' adorable. Two, just the thoughtfulness, how much effort they took and honestly the fact that they are such a personal gift that I can't really buy anywhere... Girl I love you 💙
I’m still fairly new to crochet and every gift I’ve made feels so special. Hats, bags, blankets lol I just love to see people spazz out about it “you made this!?”
I've made my friends a sleepy kirby wall hanger. It was the first time I did tapestry crochet, and I was really proud of how it came out! I was honestly a little sad to see it go, so I started another one for myself 🤭
To say I loved them is an absolute understatement. I'm IN LOVE with them. Poochi the pouch is home for my airpods. Angela the DJ is my favorite desk buddy. I freakin love Mocha and Zoey. And I never leave home without Winky the bunny/Keyholder. GENUINELY IN LOVE WITH THEM 😍😍😍
A few weeks ago was the first anniversary of when I met my boyfriend, so I designed and crochetted him a Heartstopper scarf with the leaves and colorful tassels. I designed it in a way where you can fold it and wear it with red and yellow leaves on one side, or the blue and green leaves on the other side, to match different outfits. I designed the leaves themselves too! I swear that scarf's the best thing I've ever done and it makes me so happy that he wears it every day haha. Great video!!
Not only do I love the whole idea behind this video, but I also love that along the way, your dad was overjoyed with one of your creations so you gave it to him
these gifts are so thoughtful and cute im actually tearing up a bit😭you definitely killed that girl!! best crochet gift I ever made was a checkered tote for my older sister. it was my first bag and she loves it and it warms my heart whenever I see her use it:))
I love the little pouch you made and the little cat wearing headphones! My youngest sister loves cute stuff like that, so I might have to make those for her!
This video made me so happy, making gifts that friends love is the best feeling ever! If you are getting back into reading and like cozy books I am currently reading The Friday Night Knitting Club by Kate Jacob's and loving it! Also loved Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldree ❤️
The gift I am most proud of is a Hanako tapestry for my friends birthday I’m still fairly a beginner so was proud to make something so big :-) hope you are doing well lovely videos the animals turned out so cute.
Lol I would never expect for someone to say 1984 by George Orwell would get them of a reading slump haha. To me it’s one of those books they force you to read for school 😂
@@NadiasStudio it’s a very interesting book tho! It’s a very dark book tho, I was surprised you were casually reading it, I never seen someone casually read. We had to read it for my English literature class!
This is so cute! I'm going back to my homecountry in two weeks and hopefully I'll see my friend, she has a cat and I think I'm going to make the pouch for her! Thank you for the inspiration.
9:36 YES!!!!! I was crocheting along with you and had to stop and comment this because I haven’t met anyone else who loves them as snacks…until now. They’re such good little snacks and people judge too quickly just because they’re tomatoes smh
hey, I love your channel. I just started crocheting in January and I'm hooked, currently making the retro daisy granny square blanket like the one you have posted on your channel. Anyway, just wanted to send my love and support, keep it up!
I plan on making an oversized sweater for my friend, with Hisoka’s eyes at the back panel (she really likes the anime character ). I also wanted to make another sweater with the name of her favorite kpop boy band called Ateez. I hope that laziness won’t prevent me from doing that
Made a Coraline doll for my bestfriend, took me forever to make but it was worth it❤ Made it a detachable raincoat and bag, and ofc some creepy button eyes
I love the items you made, especially the cat items. A couple of years ago I made the Shell Shawl (Jonna Martinez) for my daughter at her request. She got a lot of compliments on it. Then she asked me to make another one and sew it to the first one to make a poncho. She loves it and wears it very often. She gets tons of compliments on it. I made it in the same colors as Jonna's on RUclips.
Awww that sounds lovely 😍😍 my mom used to make me crochet shawls as a child but i didnt appreciate them at that time 🥲 but now i get to make her crochet stuff as well
everything is so cute, i especially love the turtle coaster you made. ^^ a crochet gift i'm most proud of... for, i can't remember if it was mother's day or my mom's birthday, but i crocheted her yellow rosebud earrings and a necklace. my grandma's favorite flower was yellow roses and she had passed away a year or 2 before i made them for her, so she was pretty emotional and happy. for book recommendations.... Legends and Lattes by Travis Baldtree For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten Fog and Fireflies by T. H. Lehnen Vampire Plagues by Sebastian Rook The Darkest Powers Trilogy by Kelley Armstrong The Mercy Thompson Series by Patricia Briggs The Matilda Holiday Series by Anna McCluskey Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede
I personally really enjoyed The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom. It's fiction, there's a movie that is almost 1 to 1 identical with the book. It about following this man who worked at a carnival through his afterlife and he meets people that he made their life better and it's so good and a little sad at the end.
These are all so cute!!! Such sweet and thoughtful gifts :) I also have to say I’m obsessed with your lamp shade cover next to your bed! any chance there’s a good pattern or tutorial for how to make one? I thought I could wing it at first but after thinking about it I’m not sure I am experienced enough
Thank you much Sarah❤️ about the lamp shade, i literally made it up as i went 😂 i believe i started with a row or two of half double crochet (i recommend looking into hdc foundation chain rather than starting with just chaining with slip stitches) Then i started with basic granny stitches and kept increasing every few rows and always checking and measuring on my lamp shade as i go. For the second to last row i think i used single crochet, and the last row i used the picot stitch. I hope this helps! Good luck 🥰
@@NadiasStudio That’s very helpful! I’ll have to look into how to increase stitches with granny stitches because I’ve never done that before but with that down I think I’ll get the idea! Thank you for your reply! 🥰
I'm gonna make my bestie a fox since that's her favorite animal!! :D And yeah, even though I have a TV and phone in front of me, I always use my laptop, lol XD
Totally love watching your videos they are so pleasing and cozy, and as the part for the recommendation of books you can try good girls guide to murder and silent patient if your into thiller they are so good ✨❤️
i’ve been getting into books recently too! i recommend The House of The Scorpion by Nancy Farmer also the sequel book The Lord of Opium is very good too
I tried to making many things but it really tests my patience. Now I am only comfortable making scarf and different types of flower. It still hurts my hand and takes a lot of time.
I also get hand pain. So I try to hold the hook another way. So if you are holding it like a knife, hold it like a pen. So you're using different muscles and it might not hurt that much. Try to not have too much wrist movement
flower bouquet for mum on mother's day. did she liked it? maybe, i don't know, because no one from my family or my one friend care about handmade things. it'll be put somewhere and forgotten. well, it sucks, but what can i do 🙃
So I recently found this channel after I went on a binge on this new hobby of mine and I absolutely LOVE this style of vlogging and editing so I wanted to join the discord but I can't figure out the password to gain access :(((( I'd love to join and have a community to share my projects
I have never been able to focus on audiobooks even when im not crocheting. Idk why, but the only audiobook i was able to finish is “i’m glad my mom died” . Maybe i need to look for similarly captivating books
