The EKO-1 from POLON is very interesting:-)

Yes, this version has a higher measuring range! A similar situation is in my Radex RD1503 +, the range of older versions ended at 9.99 uSv/h, and in the new version it measures even above 999 uSv/h!
Hi, what do you think, is the Radiascan 701 better or RD1008? I need a good counter which I can sell instead of RD1008. The problem is, that Quarta Rad is most of the time unable to deliver. Thanks for your reply, Markus
The used GM counter in RD1008 (Beta-2) is better than the beta-1, however the distance between the active surface and the window was reduced there. RadiaScan 701 is also an amazingly customizable dosimeter, it is also updateable :) Nevertheless, the RD 1008 is more convenient in everyday use
@@Dozymetria Why do you think this? Because of the LCD in comparison to the OLED in the RadiaScan 701A? Thats an advantage of course. But I found it extremely strange to see in your Video to put a relatively strong source (the Radium Scale) on the counter and in the Display changes NOTHING for about 10 seconds. And there is no indicator for the time goes by. I don't found this very convenient.
The reste dose is fairly simple from what I remember... $100 is a great price! I love RD1008 so much that I currently have two, the other one just checked if it works :D

Nie da się od tak powiedzieć, czy dany radiometr jest dobry, czy nie, każdy ma dobre jak i złe cechy, niestety gamma scout ma bardzo ale to bardzo małe okienko mikowe, więc raczej nie polecam, ale oczywiście ma też dobre cechy, więc najlepiej poczytać dokładniejsze recenzje, a potem decydować o zakupie.
Ja ostatnio uchwyciłem swojego w idealnym stanie na olx, godzinę po rozpoczęciu aukcji, one schodzą jak świeże bułeczki, czyli najlepiej co kilkanaście minut przez cały dzień sprawdzać allegro i olx, na ebayu są duże koszta wysyłki, więc nie polecam. :)

Radex RD1008 better! It is a great dosimeter equipped with two GM counters, one for alpha and beta contamination measurement and one for gamma dose rate. During the measurement, it displays two results simultaneously :)

@@Dozymetria I have version 1.7. I tried holding down the reset button but it doesn’t want to reset. It’s like I have a software glitch. I can’t even find a default setting.

But now comes the all-important drawback of this device: it is agonisingly slow. it takes about 15 quälend seconds for the numbers to return to zero. no decent series of measurements can be made with it. what a shame!

Для мощности дозы гамма? В моем случае показания для гамма-излучения очень похожи на другие, даже более дорогие дозиметры. Из-за удаленности счетчика GM Beta-2 чувствительность к альфа-излучению слабая.
@@Dozymetria стекло на дозиметре не пропускает альфа-излучение,вы просто замеряли другими приборами на поверхности стекла радиометра дп-63а и этот радекс1008 показал самые маленькие показания,через стекло проходит только бета+гамма,я так понимаю 41 uSv/h это было гамма+бета

What is this at 7:51 202*10 ??? All my RD1008 only show 999 when the radiation is very high. Is this new, that they display XXX*10 ?

Which Firmware Version does yours have? 1.7 or later?
My RD1008 have a firmware version 1.7
I scored on a lightly used one for $100 on eBay. Works amazingly. Just have to figure out how to reset dose.

Hello, I do not have the RD1706, but I assure you that the RD1008 is much more sensitive (GM with a mica window).

Nie da się od tak powiedzieć, czy dany radiometr jest dobry, czy nie, każdy ma dobre jak i złe cechy, niestety gamma scout ma bardzo ale to bardzo małe okienko mikowe, więc raczej nie polecam, ale oczywiście ma też dobre cechy, więc najlepiej poczytać dokładniejsze recenzje, a potem decydować o zakupie.
Zależy od tego jakie ma mieć zastosowanie :) Niestety ma swoje wady, są lepsze opcje.
Chciałbym zdobyć gdzieś rk 67. Szukałem na eBayu, allegro i olx. Wiesz może gdzie jeszcze mogę go poszukać?
