COVID 19 drive-thru test at Walgreens

After weeks of social distancing and only doing essential shopping, I developed several COVID 19 symptoms. After my doctor told me I didn’t meet the criteria because I had no known contact with a positive case, I sought out my own test. Luckily, a Walgreens 40 miles from my house was giving drive-thru testing. I feel that my coworkers I have been in close contact with should know if I have it or not.

Yes, it was about 24 hours later. But that was before the increased volume of testing, so it might be longer now.

I got a fever after the testing....at Walgreens. Don't do that,protect yourself and your family.

Hey thanks for posting this, I am wondering how is the email that you get ? It says this test is the PCR test ?

The results did not include that. It had my name, what I was tested for, and the results. But I believe it was the PCR test.

I am doing fine now. Even though I had the negative test, I was still hospitalized with low oxygen levels and pneumonia. The doctors still treated me as if I had COVID. They told me about the high levels of false negatives on the tests. I hope they are more accurate now. Thanks for watching, and I hope you are doing well.

Have you thought about having a sleep study done? Was on cpap years before tachy Brady pacemaker.
