Hello from the US and thanks for another great video brother! Sleeping inside an old cathedral packed with history was a nice touch. Steve Wallis has nothing on your cooking abilities.
Clandfaf what you see there is a memorial from the Bombs of Germany in ww2 Plymouth was flattened as was Exeter torbay where I live was also bombed but not as heavy it was Bombed to lighten the load so the Germans could get back to France, however if you want a real memorial to the loss of life in Devonshire there is a lonely Sherman tank that was raised from the seabed, and it stands in the car park, the Germans came up in e boats and did a job on American forces.loss of life and equipment. Rip fallen heroes
@@clandfaf the story of slapton sands is facinating as is the Sherman tank that occupies part of the car park as a memorial to the American soldiers, ledgend has it there is a field with hundreds of Harley Davidsons and jeeps that the Americans left behind after the war. They buried them. That is either fact or fiction nobody knows what field just that it's outside kingsbridge and slapton sands somewhere, alot of the older people who were kids back then remember the American soldiers well for the candy and chewing gum they were given.
I discovered your channel yesterday, I used to go to Wild Camp, but now I live in my car full time. You're making me want to get some equipment to do wild camping now, though, loving your videos, dude.
I love to see u do segensworth in Fareham. Everytime I drive by I think of old billy set up in there, maybe one day. Good stuff Bill enjoyed this one🤗😉
Can’t believe you came to Plymouth! Great camp You should come to the moors here or going to a stealth camp on drakes island or the old forts that are dotted around northern Plymouth
Here in Australia a church like that might be 100 years old at best, but I’m sure that church is 1000 years old or older. It’s a shame it’s skeleton is half being preserved and not the history. But a great location for a overnight camp
Not quite 1,000 years - Charles church was founded in 1640. After it was destroyed in the Blitz in March 1941, it was purposely left as a skeleton in memorial to the lost old city and its people.
Fair play Billy, I remember being on a field course in Plymouth for two weeks as a student (1997) and stumbling though that old church absolutely wasted. I'm sure it was completely open back then, pretty sure it required no climbing or anything. At least I don't think there was - I didn't break any limbs and I'm damn sure I would have done if I'd needed to climb anything as I was completely hammered. I live in Devon now (not Plymouth), and Plymouth always seems to be full of divlons with fart box exhausts driving like morons.
I live in Plymouth Massachusetts and I love my town. We have the replica of the mayflower MAYFLOWER II. We are right on the ocean and have a mooring directly across from the ship. We are very lucky. Lots of tourists this time of year though so it’s pretty busy.
Billy good stuff wood like to met you .comeinng england oct 2003 no money but will be stelth caming whoud like some tips .if l can meet you .did this as a kid now 64 need help to make it work love what you do big fan steven bowers on tited butje coming home after 50 years yours sinserly pleas if poseble keep camping stay safe all the best big fan.
Isn't the magna carta or church of england or whatever "law" still in order that noone can disturb someone seeking refuge in a church? Would be epic if you can still use that.
Ok just looked it up and, although "THE RIGHTS OF SANCTUARY!!!!1" were "mandated" by certain people and organisations, it's pretty much an urban myth.. However, I WOULD STILL try to use it, even if just for japes and jollies.. haha.. I'm certain you could delay a forceful eviction with that excuse for a day or two at least.. :D (I guess ultimately, private squatting legal things would just come into play.. nothing worse)
Great video like always! I really enjoy watching them. Random question but where is that Nike Jacket from? I really like it and now I want one. Stay safe out there!.
I'm a new subscriber, and this video is about the riskiest stealth camp i seen anyone do. I wonder if it would be possible to do a collaboration stream on stealth camping with steve wallis over in canada..
Respect drinking shandy and cooking a gourmet meal in the bombed ruins of Charles Church. I would be mainlining spirytus. Great vid. Keep it up.
Whoa! Good job Billy. Your boldest stealth camp yet.
Thanks mate Yeah it was pretty visible
The church is a memorial to the civilians killed by air raids in ww2
It a interesting place
It was bombed it self
That's a really busy roundabout, well done for pulling off a stealth camp at that location 👍
More to the point theres a Police Station about 80 yards away 😂
Awesome stealth camping👍👍👍
how is this place even still around (and not ENTIRELY blocked out) in the middle of all that?? amazing find, nice one.. :D
Yeah I know modern buildings all around and church on around about
It's there as a memorial
Now that's some proper knife work if I've ever seen it. I am glad I learned how to do that too because it stopped me from constantly cutting the tips of my fingers off.
My man Bilski is the John Wick of kitchen knives.. :D
Pretty much sure he was a cook in the army, am I right Billy? The one most important person in a squad.. You can kind of tell... :)
No not in the army. Just work on an army camp civilian chef.

My hometown remember that church well good job billy. If you ever around the Weston super mare area for a wild camp let us know maybe a colab one day
Love that location as it’s beautiful history. Thanks. Oh and yummy looking meal. Lamb is delish
The riskier the better in my book - adds to the adventure. Great vid.
Great vlog Billy, number one camper
Thanks mate
As a Plymothian I've known this all my life. This is called Charles church roundabout. In many ways this seems risky to me, so well done mate!
Thanks for the info.
Fascinating place.
👍🏻
As another Plymuff boy .. risky with Charles Cross police station overlooking you…

That was my opinion of those coffees too, although I had a different one. They're okay but too expensive to buy again. The concept is cool though.
I'm sure they have the uses. But for the price you could go to a coffee shop
Well done, with the architectural Gem of a roundabout Billy
Hi Billy, what an awesome place to camp, lovely church, not many church’s have grass in them, thank you Billy, really enjoyed it. Xxxx
Yeah I lovely bit of greenery. Thanks glad you enjoyed it
Mise en place on point chef, your knife work for the slaw was slick AF🔥
damn sir! "risk it for a biscuit" Those nasty brambles in there make it tough too... Dinner looked super tasty.
Amazing!

You should of had a camouflage tarp. Another great video thanks

The church in Dover castle has Roman foundations, I think that’s the oldest in uk
It was bombed in ww2

Please do not tell me his choppin board is sitting on a grave stone 😅
I really hope it isn’t thermite in the can, they used that in ww2 for destroying artillery barrels 😂
