Great food. Ate there about 10 years ago. Was there with a group of friends at about 9pm. Most stalls were closed. Would appreciate if youtuber/s would state opening & closing times.

good suggestion😁💜 one thing I notice though, even though websites might state the times of which stalls operates but when I went there, they are closed😅😅 and this was during the day too. Aye that can be annoying sometimes. Just have to try another day

What's cendol? Also, noodles, chilies, and prawns are three of my favorite things. I'm baking salmon tonight with capers, served with wild rice and carrots. On a side note, I've got the greenhouse set up for this year's garden. Monday I'll be starting tomato, chili, and eggplant seeds. I hope all's well with you.

Sweet! Cendol sounds really good. If I ever make it across the Pacific, I'll be sure to remember it. Dinner was good, thanks. Very filling without making me feel stuffed afterward. I'm doing pretty well. It was sunny today with a high of 72°F. My blackberries have come out of dormancy about a week earlier than I expected, so I went ahead and pruned them. I also took advantage of the weather and transplanted a couple of oak seedlings that needed to be moved from my garden. I'll be planting many more blackberries very soon-about 100-so I'm going to be busier than a one-legged man in a butt-kicking contest here shortly.

Great questions! Yes, I make jam with them, freeze them, and eat them fresh. I really like them in my oatmeal in the mornings. I'm putting in so many because I'm starting a u-pick blackberry patch to boost the farm income. Most blackberries take two years to produce fruit. Each year, new stems (called canes) grow up from the ground. They grow all season until frost and then go dormant in the winter. The next spring, they come out of dormancy, bloom and have berries in the summer. Meanwhile, new canes are growing up from the ground to have berries the following year. If you live in a warm southern climate like mine (not as warm as yours, of course😉), most farm blackberry varieties will have a second crop of berries in August-September. There is a newer variety, called Prime-Ark Freedom, that has berries on each year's new growth as well as the year-old growth, and that pretty much guarantees two crops per year. Those are the ones I'm adding to the patch this month.
