Love to see an AVGN - DUKE NUKEM episode. A nerd look on all released Duke Nukem games. From Duke 1, 2, 3D over the PS and N64 games like ZERO HOUR, all the way to Manhattan Project and the iconic disappointment DUKE NUKEM FOREVER.
I love whenver AVGN releases anything new. If not watching a bunch of old AVGN will do also. Please do another 12 days of Shitsmas for the holidays. Those are my favorites during the holiday.
The Last Ninja episode shows that AVGN went back to its golden age route once again. The longest running web series aged like fine wine that AVGN has been there way before RUclips launched.
After all these years, AVGN is the only one who still holds up. I don't care what anyone says. He was the originator, and he is still the best. Still the GOLD STANDARD. Much Respect AVGN.
I'm actually blown away by the level of detail that went into the backgrounds. The trees, tables, fences etc. all look great. Even the character models are pretty solid.
i’ve watched this season like over 10 times and i just realized the dedication for boo. made me think of my late cat who passed a year later after boo and made me tear up a bit
I love 'The Last Ninja' series on the C64 when I was a kid. They were horrible to play but the visuals were fantastic for a C64. Thank you for bringing back the memories.
Contra, Castlevania, Metroid, was like that for me in my childhood... And than, When I got to adulthood, Dark souls and BOTW... They are just a few, but really precious gems...

I'm gonna hazard a guess James took the original video down to fix the glitch in Contra. I was watching it with my wife a few hours ago, and whenever he showed a closeup of the wish-granting hand, it would show a pop-up window saying some sort of software had expired. No idea what it meant, I just assumed it was a weird joke that wasn't in the original episode... Evidently not 😂
I’ve never thought that after the 15th season, which in my opinion was the weakest by far, we would get such a great season... One of the best AVGN seasons ever!!!
Rockin' Kats! The music in the background of the Purr Pals video was from Rockin' Kats, the NES game where you play as a blue anthropomorphic cat and use a punching glove gun to slug, swing, and spring your way through different themed stages to rescue your girlfriend. The box art was one of the few times an NES game cover accurately represented both the look and feel of the actual game. Chiseled loose some dusty old memories there.

Somehow you capture a lot of what my childhood/adolescence/current adulthood is about even though I may have been born a generation later than you.
