Teeing a bit lower and moving the ball back in your stance a bit so as not to hit up as much is a way to hit a fairway finder when you need one. Lower ball flight with more back spin.
We know from rifle marksmanship that minute changes in the barrel orientation create massive differences at distance. These small changes at impact with the golf ball are no different, when projected out 260-330yards. By the way, this dude is like 120lbs and crushing the ball.
Definitely from a distance perspective, the more you hit up on it the more potential distance you have. So teeing it higher will generally encourage you to hit up more. As long as you have a drive that is correctly fitted to give you the perfect spin rate. If you launch it too high with loads of spin it will just be a balloon ball. But high launch and low spin = 💣💣
Again very interesting. Completely get the point about delivering the club and potentially changing the swing.

And in conjunction, to reduce the drift effect of a high side wind.
Would love to see someone make a tee 1/4" taller than pink. Orange just spook me 😢
Impressive you were able to hit up that much with the low tee. It makes sense that those were struck lower on the face though
I know! To be fair i hit one off the deck for a bit of fun and I still hit 4* up on that.......and I actually hit it pretty well!

Interesting thx
Interesting that the 2 longest hitters in all my playing partners both use a 9 degree driver with orange castle tees, while everyone else uses pink
