  • Are you planning to travel from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake direct route or Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri Lake direct route?
    Traveling directly from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake will save you one day in your Ladakh Road Trip Itinerary and similarly, if you travel from Pangong Lake to Tso Moriri Lake directly then as well you will save another day.
    Are you wondering if there is any direct route from Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso lake? Well, if you are short on time on your trip to Ladakh, yes, you can travel from Nubra to Pangong Tso directly via either the Shyok village route or the Wari La Pass route.
    The route from Nubra to Shyok to Pangong is a much shorter one and takes about 5-6 hrs depending on breaks you take in between. However, Nubra to Wari La to Pangong Tso takes about 10 hrs and meets the typical Leh - Pangong route at the base of Chang La pass.
    Are you wondering if there is any direct route from Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri lake? If you are short on time on your trip to Ladakh, yes, you can travel from Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri directly via either Chusul village route or Kaksang La Pass route or Tangtse - Earth - Harong - Nama - Chusul road.
    The direct route from Pangong to Chusul to Tso Moriri via Tsaga La Pass - Loma is a bit longer but safer in comparison to the Kaksang La route. So, much more preferred than going via Kaksang La pass.
    In this video today, I will talk about these 5 direct routes that are part of any offbeat Ladakh trip which connects Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso directly and Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri lake directly and answer the following questions:
    Can I travel from Pangong Tso to Tso Moriri directly? [Pangong to Tso Moriri Direct Route]

      Hi Joy, Sam
      Since Nyoma petrol pump is operational now, you need a vehicle that can do ~290 km without petrol pump if you are doing Ladakh circuit and returning to Leh while ~420 km if you are exiting from Tso Moriri to Keylong Manali road. If your vehicle tank capacity cannot do these distances then you need to carry extra fuel accordingly

  • @purandhar-hm6vx
    @purandhar-hm6vx Месяц назад +1

    If you can cover petrol pumps in these routes that would be great of solo bike traverllers. Can you please let us know the situation of petrol pumps? Thanks

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  Месяц назад +1

      Now as of May 2024, you will find petrol pumps ar following places in Ladakh
      Leh, Karu near Leh,
      Diskit in Nubra ,
      Tangtse near Pangong Lake,
      Nyoma near Hanle and Tso Moriri
      Then if you exit on Manali Leh highway from Tso Moriri then next petrol pump will be Keylong.
      So if you are doing Ladakh circuits as above, you will need to manage about 290 km without petrol pump in case returning to Leh or Karu otherwise if you exit from Tso Moriri to Keylong/Manali then you need to manage about 420 km

    • @discoverwithdheeraj
      @discoverwithdheeraj  Месяц назад +1

      Bhai that is totally different route and not related at all.. first you need to go to Leh from Pangong and stay overnight that is about 170 km and then from Leh it depends on which route you take, as of now Nimmu Nerak road is not officially open and lot of construction going on that results in frequent closure. So you can go from Leh to Padum via Sirsirla Singey La road and then stay, then next day Padum to Manali via Shinkula on Day 3.. all this is non stop you are talking here for three days when 1-2 days of rests is recommended ij between.. both the above two routes have detailed travel guide videos on my channel please refer them for distance and timing details

    Hi, we are in Leh today, we have arrived by Car.

      Now as of May 2024, you will find petrol pumps ar following places in Ladakh
      Leh, Karu near Leh,
      Diskit in Nubra ,
      Tangtse near Pangong Lake,
      Nyoma near Hanle and Tso Moriri (Newly operational in 2024)
      Then if you exit on Manali Leh highway from Tso Moriri then next petrol pump will be Keylong.
      So if you are doing Ladakh circuits as above, you will need to manage about 290 km without petrol pump in case returning to Leh or Karu otherwise if you exit from Tso Moriri to Keylong/Manali then you need to manage about 420 km

      bhai 5 people will be too much to accomodate and will be very cramped up with all luggage too. Spiti you have done and you have idea about the comfort too with 4 people.. then what happens if 5 people will be there and route is longer. I hope the Alto is not taxi. And finally Ladakh taxi routes are governed by taxi union so there is not much wiggle room there about 10% or so drivers can give discount if you connect directly with them.
