Your way of thinking in this sense is flawed. Why should he have been from the hood or about that life to feel sorry for him? It's not about where you're from or how you lived. I feel sorry because I followed his career from February 2018 until his death and it came out of nowhere, he was extremely talented and en route to becoming one of the biggest stars in the industry at the age of 20. I'm 3 years older than him and accomplished nothing in comparison so I used him as motivation. I came to my own conclusion that he intentionally overdosed though, he hinted to it many times in his music.
Should he have been doing drugs? obviously not and we're all aware of the risks that come with it but I'm positive you either are currently, or have done things in the past you shouldn't have. So have I and everyone else.
