Well this and the origin practically has the same surface detail than the rg and has better articulation and more solid, so just buy the rg rx 78 water slide decals put those either on this or the origin then you pretty much get an rg rx 78
I have to agree with Shockblade. The origin is kinda the 1.5 in terms of detail and has better articulation. It does not have as many accessories but you get what you need with the origin. If you're very committed than you can get the revive and create panel lines and paint it up. But I'm sure most us here just want bandai to do the work for us which I can't blame ourselves since not all of us can get the equipment or learn how to do the extra work to make our kits look their best.
How much do you pay for this? I remember my local hobby shop put a P.O. on it but they were stupidly expensive for a 1/144, like twice or triple the original price.
Just a question I'm struggling to do a ms 10 dowadge pezun custom frome the rick dom and Carnt find much info So I wos rundering if you cold do a family tree video and histery of the dom family Olso mast my info from Gbo2 And lovely video kit looks amazing
Seems a bit expensive for what you get...through side7exports its 60 dollars without shipping added. Dang. You could get 2-3 rgs for that money or 2 simple master grades like the rx78-2.0. It looks pretty good but im not sure it looks THAT good. Even if the base is pretty rad.
your favorite rx78 huh? I think you need to take a look at the HG Origin Rx78. It is IMO the best grandaddy gundam model ever. Comes with ALL the accessories, even shoulder cannons and has as much detail and color separation as a Real Grade without the falling apart.
@@nemueru in terms of detail, then yes. The revive is still the best as a beginner kit and is simple with plenty of accessories. The revive is still the best :)
@@Darth_Anomalous I'd say the Revive is the best if you want an anime accurate grandaddy and the Origin is better if you prefer a more Katoki like design.
honestly not a fan of this version of the RX-78, the proportions, extra colors and the panel lines just don't look good imo give me the old HGUC Gundam or the RG + the dock and it'll be perfect
the panel lining on this kit is really bad as far as design it really looks like a someone with no concept of armor layout designed it and went way too overboard with it
Aka...the real "transformer"
i bet it takes longer to panel line this kit than it is to build it
I wish they just did a 1.5 of the RGs so they weren't so floppy

well, i just spent fifteen minutes scrolling through side sevens catalog when i meant this video to be background noise for actual work i need to do
The super dark hands and inner frame parts look a bit off. I guess I'm just conditioned to expect a certain shade of grey.
Where did that grenade in the left hand of the Zaku II F2 come from? Looks neat!

will you be covering the "red rider" pale rider and it's Arieus system. (If I spelled that correctly...)
Wish you would do a history video on yazan gable and what happened to him after zz or a review of his hamrabi hg kit.
Hey kakorat, are you willing do the gm development history or .... no?
That's definitely happening once I work through the V-project machines. The next dev history is technically on a GM btw

You should try G40, Beyond Global for action articulation
If this can't do the final shooting pose, it should be ashamed of itself

Ah yes. The Mazinger Z

I meant to say the best hg grand daddy. There are better HG out there.

This the first real Gundam though. :p
I hope they made some of this for master grade.
They have a 1/100 non grade. It has a different type of docking system. Too.
