I remember going here with my brother's family when I was 15 a few years ago, and since they weren't rollercoaster fans I had to go by myself. Considering myself lucky, because we got there really early in the day when there were barely any visitors yet. And I remember riding this by myself 14 times in a row.
Lucky! We had a field trip to discovery kingdom today and there were no lines, but we did everything else first and ran outta time so i could only do medusa 3 times :/
Dude, the first drop of that ride is like o.o , literally xD I always get terrified on the chain lift hill, but when im like a few seconds away from the drop, my heart stops, then after that, there is nothing that you can do about it but like scream (x i like the loops and inversions though. Drops are just too funny to me .
in six flags, in mexico city, medusa was a wooden rollercoaster, and closed down in august 2013 (it will be taked down and a new rollercoaster will be builded in that place)

I rode Medusa, Vertical Velocity, Kong, Boomerang, Roar, and one more ride that I forgot the name of it and I'm an eleven year old girl LOL :P But I went to Six Flags THREE days before Superman opened :( but I enjoyed all the other rides anyway! To be honest, I don't really believe the line is worth the wait sometimes. 40 minutes? Medusa is one of those rides that look very intimidating and scary, but actually, I get a very nice floaty feeling from them. This is nothing compared to V2 or Superman (whose waits are SO slow), Medusa might be a warm up ride, but definitely not the main attraction. Mind you this is coming from someone who's never really thought a ride was scary after going on them!! Let's just say I love adrenaline. :3

no, not exactly. for the 4th and 5th inversions, on kraken, boomerang. on medusa, i think it's called a batwing. on kraken, the 6th inversion is a loop, unlike medusa's corkscrew
When I first went on the medusa they didn't strap me in all the way and I was scared to death. I thought I was going to die. I held on so tight. It was scary D:

i went on this right after roar. This is soooooo much funner than roar! I hate roller coasters so much, but i loved this! :) But the drops knock the wind out of me, so thats what scared me.
@rjdiez10 That happend yesterday when i brought my cousin. She took it out at the begining of the chain lift and they told us to stop or we would get kicked out
@Brotherclips You are wrong. Totally wrong actually. Medusa at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom is not the same ride as Medusa/Bizarro in Six Flags Great Adventure. Medusa at Six Flags DK is still up and running. Medusa at Six Flags GA got a new paint job and a new name. (Bizarro) It's also still running.
