I get probably 20 emails everyday with pictures of rocks and people asking me if it's gold or not. I created this video as a way to help to start to learn the difference between pyrite and gold.
That chalcopyrite and quartz specimen was amazing. All the crystalline gold specimens were even more impressive. I just found your channel and I am just dumbfounded.
I was told once and I will always remember no matter how you turn something that is gold with lighting & whatever gold stays gold and gold colored pyrite will not.

Is it possible for pyrite to have gold in it? Because I have a piece od pyrite and it looks like it has a few pieces of gold in it.
