When I was a kid in the 60's in Homestead Fla. we used to take a mason jar and paint it brown. put them where we could find them under the water and the Octopus would go inside. We would go back with a net and collect them and clean and cook. Great Video. Be Safe!

The little shacks along the coastline are unfamiliar especially in America with the multi million dollar homes that limit access. So glad you left behind the James Bond wannabe, you truly look happy now. Life is as simple as "love one another".

We moved to Florida 6 months ago and are looking forward to learning snorkeling and eventually scuba. We live in Hernando County so there's lots of places to learn.

Thank you for this comment. I was extremely disturbed to see how they treated the octopi like they were inanimate objects, like toys. They are such intelligent creatures. I am not a vegan but I do try very hard to make sure that any creature that I eat is treated kindly, gets to have a good life and a quick and painless death. This just made me feel so sick. I can't even imagine how terrifying that must have been for those sweet little beings. I got to have the amazing experience of playing with an octopus in an aquarium, it was absolutely amazing, so intelligent and so sweet. And this woman, complaining about the possibility of the octopus biting her... after she treated them like that and they hadn't, mind blown, truly. I'm sorry, I just have to add... can you imagine if someone went into a chicken coop and grabbed a chicken and tossed it around like that, laughing and joking as it screamed in terror, and then roughly stuffed it in a sack and then did the same with a few more before carrying them off to eat them. I am sorry but wow, I keep hearing her call herself an animal lover, how on earth can she say that?
In Louisiana I had many crawfish and a small band of perch in 50 gallon aquarium, crawfish molt in the same manner and the perch are constantly swimming by just waiting for the molt, I'd find the intact shell and 2 halves of a white ball about the size of a split pea.,apparently a calcium supply used for the new shell, when molting the only muscle that functions is in the tail so they race backwards to avoid being fish food!!!!
nice video Kell. Your vids are so different than Gabe and Roberts. Gabe plays a lot more, Robert is more technical and your more seeing the beauty of the moment. Not just the beauty of the place but the "moment" I can see you put more thought into just being there than the steps you had to go through to get there. If this makes no since, sry. Hard for me to express myself sometimes.

Amazing time. The whole crew needs to invest in a English/Spanish electronic translator to make things easier with the locals. I’m bilingual and it pains me that poncho probably has so much valuable dialogue to share with the crew and he is limited as the crew is too! Some of these devices don’t even need wifi to work or internet. Great video! All of you are awesome!!!

Amazing time. The whole crew needs to invest in a English/Spanish electronic translator to make things easier with the locals. I’m bilingual and it pains me that poncho probably has so much valuable dialogue to share with the crew and he is limited as the crew is too! Some of these devices don’t even need wifi to work or internet. Great video! All of you are awesome!!!
