@@jonathangarbutt4682 Unlike Rally1 with space frame chasis and 4 cylinder engine, the Rally2 cars are only modified cars. They are relatively close to what you can buy at a dealer and then, if you wish, modify. Rally1 is only loosely based on the homologation models.

To be fair a ruleset more like group n or group a would be better so they can't just make a rally car off of any old econobox platform. I would agree with you that the race cars shouldn't have to be relevant to the road cars for feeder classes to bring down costs. A feeder ruleset that doesn't require the race cars to be based on road cars, and requires that cars be sold at a certain cost would be really cool. Ideally they would use space frames and basically unmodified production car engines/transmissions sort of like formula feeder series.
Hyundai should have never treated him the way they did. I love both Hyundai and toyota but was upset the way hyundai treated Oliver. He is going to be a force to reckon with.
