2025 01 20 Maʻakua Ridge - Papali Trail Time Warp

State trail with a time-saving(?) twist. Took the state trail up to my favorite rest spot and cut back down the ridge instead of completing the loop. The ridge was a very pleasant surprise with a couple narrow sections and some really nice views that the state trail completely misses. There are some spots that still need attention as a big patch of guinea grass and lots and lots of vines still persist.
