  • Ha ha ha... so yeah its been a journey to get these 2014 started Wiley Tan Cork from Wilmington Delaware, hollowed with cedar bottom boards, northern white cedar heads with glass eyes and paint in Goldens Acrylics "Heavy Body Mattes" which where finished in 2018 and finally gunned over here in the 2019-2020 Maryland Duck Season.

    I landed on your video because I'm looking to manufacture a product out of cork. I'm not into duck hunting or anything to do with duck cork carving - but I watched it the whole way through because you're video is really sincere and honest. Thanks for putting this up :)

    Jeff thanks for sharing all these great decoy videos. You are the reason I got into carving... it all started when I watched D3TV carving a harlequin decoy years ago!! And then the obsession started carving and collecting!! Thanks again

    I grew up on long Island south shore cut my teeth on broadbill and black duck made hundreds of blacks and broadbill decks but past few years living upstate i am now working on teal wooden and hooded merganser , love your videos nice work

    Man thank you I would love to see you making some more decoys I’d love to learn to make decoys but I have so many questions videos like these help answers some of those questions

    Awesome Video Jeff, I think I’m going to start making either decoys or calls.My cousin makes calls and takes us out for youth day and paints us all decoys and gives us each one of his calls he made. I thinks it is neat how you make the decoys. 👍🏼

    Hey Jeff when your power carving with a Foredom what do you use for a dust collection unit? Also for your bandsaw what dust collection unit do you run for that?

      yes I try to, its an older unit kind of a squirrel case system into a bag.... bandsaw I like the shop vac attached

      Wiley Cork would take left overs and regrind. Today really nothing to do with them.
