I can already tell everyone's about to hate this episode, probably on some animation shit, but holy shit as a manga reader the adaptation for these moments surpassed even my ideal expectations... I've said it before, regardless of the animation, Blue Lock nails abstract concepts with visual symbolism. Aiku's flow state UI, Shidou's Dragon Drive, Isagi's puzzle pieces, Reo's Chameleon, Bachira's monster, Barou predatory imagery and lightning... my favourite episode of the season, fight me haters
They definitely have a unique creative vision for the series, it’s just clear the animation team is being robbed of time to really polish it. Everything else about the series has been consistently great, they’re just being held back by unrealistic deadlines.
Yeah I just wish they put more effort just like Shidous goals maybe different camera perspectives and actually showed how the ball went in because we didn’t see the trajectory of the ball

Rewatching season 1, the amount of genuine MOTION they have there is way more than season 2. of course, a lot of it boils down to the pacing and timing; time literally stops for most characters to think, and we follow Isagi as he processes information incredibly quick, so there literally is nothing TO animate, but still... the choreography and animation could most definitely be improved. my point is, DESPITE all of that, my enjoyment of this is still through the roof.
@@Fontani753 they werent given time to animate the season so they focus only on the hype parts , barou goal wasnt as hype as shidou so it wont get the same treatment
As a manga reader I'm disappointed because of the animation but the actual content in the episode is fire, I'm glad at least anime onlys get to experience it
Park the bus is common term in football tactics for all out defensive play. Put all players in defensive area and play counter attack when get a chance.
If they ain’t willing to put it before the credits / line it up with that dog water comedy at the end, I ain’t gonna sift through to find it Straight up
Do you blame him? He said at the very end that he just doesn't like the additional times, you need to see those to get to the end credits; a lot of people just don't wanna see the additional times. Episode 10's additional time was solid and season 1 had a bunch of decent ones that provide insight into some characters, but a lot of the time it's primarily comedic and a lot of people just don't want to see that in such intense moments. I'll just say, the next manga arc... comedic additional times will NOT fit that vibe
