Also, Is my man GuanGuan Stuck in this past now? Cause from his eye color changing back from yellow to normal AND he clapped his hands, it looks like it! Anyway, GAS first episode back! There is no 12 hour limit. He explained that he can stay in the photo forever. But that his soul will be lost in time and won’t have a place to belong to. The reason they put the 12 hour rule is because Lu guangs powers only allows him to see 12 hours..after that it’s a mystery so they never took the risk of staying more
Also Lu Guang's eye colours changed back to normal beyond 12 hours, and he also clapped his hands and it didn't send him back to his original timeline, so I guess past 12 hours you can never go back and will stuck in the past forever. Also I think it's confirmed that Lu Guang is albino because his hair colour is naturally white.

At the end of season 2 Qiao Ling was wondering why Li Tianxi saw Lu Guang’s memories of Cheng Xiaoshi death when she got her powers (?) When she died. And at the very end of season two Lu Guang was reminiscing to himself about how he broke the not changing the past rule that he is always talking about to change Cheng Xiaoshi death. They show the scene from the start of this episode of Lu Guang going to the past. Considering that this ark is a short prequel ark and not season 3. So am I assuming correctly that this episode is the start of the timeline that leads to the end of season 2. With Lu Guang staying in the past till the present of season two.
I think this is another timeline and we’re working in 3 timeline format. One because next ep will be the boys going to bridon to investigate CXS parents, but in S1 they went there after graduation (they knew each other for a while while, and in this arc they havent even graduate yet) so we’ll be gettijg one more timeline

I think there is first the timeline where CXS died in the tunnel, so Lu Guang went to the past and saved him, then the rest of the end of s2 is the beginning of ep 1 of the prequel where CXS is dead and after lu guang goes to the past

The opening is more "simple" because this is a prologue. Season 3 will probably come out next year or 2026 and it'll have 24 episodes. The animation for the ending of this prologue is beautiful tho.
