Men being unable to hit women in WWE is actively hurting the Judgment Day storyline right now. Liv hasn't been built up as a destroyer of worlds...but she completely decimated Rhea no problem on Raw because JD's 4 men could only attack Priest. This doesn't fit the story or characters at all. Imagine Roman coming down to the ring and Solo decimating him without any meaningful help from the bloodline...that's what effectively happened to Rhea. This doesn't kill the story or anything that dramatic...the overall story is great and I'm into it...but it DOES hurt the perception of Rhea. Why was Liv running away from Rhea all these weeks when she can clearly just dominate her without breaking a sweat?
What they needed was for Liv to use the chair a couple more times to really soften Rhea up, then for her to throw her around fewer times before they go back to the ring. That would have fixed that issue completely imo
I mean, having the strap match between Drew and Punk be "touch four corners to win" feels like if they had a cage match and it was "win by escape only"...but as a step in the feud, I see your point!
I don't think New Day is going to break up either way. They're gonna lay it on and lay it on... but E will make an appearance, getting Woods to chill and sealing it by giving his blessing to Jones. New Day v2.0 will be official.
Paul Ellering does have kind of that cool aura about him, but I have been thinking since he and the AOP returned that it is weird he doesn't ever say anything. Sometimes you can hear him shouting stuff out during a match (like last night's RAW) but he does seem wasted not cutting promos for AOP or The Final Testament.
Whoever turns heel in the New Day and I hope it's Woods (I can't see Kofi as a heel) watch as he recruits Omos to combat Jones/Kingston. I can totally see Woods taking out Kofi, getting in Jones' face confidently smirking as Omos walks out the ramp and into the ring and taking out Jones.
There’s too many factions and tag teams right now have the only story around them is breaking up. Keep The New day, but give them better tag teams to work with.The AOP just aren’t great. Let Big E manager them if he can’t wrestle. Breaking them up will only diminish Kofi and Woods. Jimmy has done nothing since breaking up with Jey. Some teams are just better together.

I love the idea of Big E sitting Xavier Woods down and telling him it's OK. Using a fan favorite like Woods as a proxy for the fans is a great idea to move on from after that injury.
My hope is next premium live whatever we learn Big E is clear to wrestle when he shows up and joins new New day against the final testament and from then on New Day is a four man group to breathe some new life into them.
Woods is by far the more likeable and sympathetic figure in this inevitable breakup of the New Day. It's like they're going out of their way to make Kofi obnoxious. The only way Woods gets over as a heel is to side with the Final Testament. I use the term 'over' loosely because FT is the furthest thing from being over. That being said, if Woods simply splits and goes it alone, it'd be hard not to root for him.

You can't have the face of that channel be a heel, so I propose this. Kofi is ironically in a similar position to Daniel Bryan back in 2018 when he turned heel. If you wanna get really existential, it would be like modern, rational babyface Xavier feuding with a lingering artifact of the old style of WWE booking in the form of mentally unstable, clueless heels. He'd be fighting not just Kofi and Jones, but also the "let's repackage someone out of nowhere and pretend their old identity never existed" and "big dude = push" mentality of Vince's booking.

Punk and Drew are ice cold right now. Punks promo's have been poor. Drew's have been lazy. The strap match stipulation feels like filler because it absolutely is. There were easily a half dozen segments better than this on Raw. I'd much rather see Reed vs Braun on the PLE as well as Wyatt Sicks vs American Made in some capacity on the PLE than this.

The bracelet angle is just silly, and I just can't help but smirk when I read people doing all sorts of mental gymnastics to justify that it's a great angle. Even if you want to justify Punk being so obsessed with the bracelet because it has sentimental value, this doesn't explain why Drew is so obsessed with keeping it. Yesterday on RAW he accepted to be in a strap match just to avoid giving the bracelet back, which doesn't add up for me. If anything, Drew has spoken for ages about how he wanted to beat Punk at every opportunity he gets, never once being portrayed as a cowardly heel, and now he avoids a particular stipulation because he would be attached by a strap to a man who is half his size? All of this isn't bad per say, but it's below what I expected from this feud thus far. The strap match has to deliver, because the first match didn't.

The show is more packed and runs well with everyone getting time to do their thing, now. It works so well having the three hours. If you go back to two hours, people get left out and people will complain. Why wasn't so and so on RAW. This person wasn't on. Even with the three hours, People are missing from television.
