There are entries in the KJV which were added that are not in the original texts which is why they were excluded in newer translations, that along with old vs new english causing misconceptions is why the translations are updated.
Don't get me wrong as I am not trying to come across nasty, it is just all a bit confusing, and I really enjoy, appreciate and have learned a lot from this channel, so keep up the good work 😁

Most read the 1769 version, yes there are three versions of the KJV. Cambridge, Oxford and the 1769 revised which is most popular today>
The 1611 the first KJV translation. The doctrine has not changed, Jesus is still God how we are (are saved) has not changed. The letters have been corrected to read easier. Minor fixes from a printers errors of that time. I say 1611 because the true word of God was delivered to English speaking people, finally to have in their possession.
But that was in 1611 and we have manuscripts that go back as far as 300-400 and show that things were added from original during translation

What is your opinion about the texts from the Ethiopian Orthodox Church? Books like Enoch and Jublee? My primary bible is KJV, and I'm interested in learning the history of Ethopian Orthodox. Would love to hear Pastor Breaker's analysis. Thanks
Robert did a video several years ago where I believe he said that Books like the Book of Enoch and other extrabiblical writings should not be in the cannonized Bible. I do not believe they should be either. However Jude makes a reference to Enoch in Jude chapter 1 verse 14. So Jude must have had some understanding of Enoch's writings passed down by other scholars. I’ve learned that there were different writings by Enoch found and many were fakes. Make sure you are reading the correct one.

@@larrycraddock3063 I've heard that during that time they would pass down stories through oral storytelling and not through writings. If that's true, it'd make sense if a lot of those found writings were fake.

The NIV completely omits verse 37 in Acts chapter 8!
Or does the KJV "add" it?
Yeah this verse doesn’t appear in the oldest documents so usually, and i don’t really care for the niv personally, they put it in the footnotes with an explanation.
What this verse is , is called a “ditto gram” . Sometimes a well meaning transcriber would add things in for clarification that isn’t mentioned in the direct text but is consistent with other areas of scripture . So if uou look at the older manuscripts , this verse doesn’t appear. So the NIV puts it in the footnotes with an explanation . So this verse was most likely an added “ditto graph” that was moved to the footnotes after examination.
Most KJV only believers have a very difficult time with this.

When I talk to ppl who like the new versions they always say there's a note at bottom of page. Is this true with version you're speaking of?
@@dreyt5197 The NKJV has notes telling you if the verse is in the oldest texts, but keeps the variant reading in the text, the ESV does the reverse.

Robert do you ever read book of jubilee, book of Jasher Book of Enoch, commentary on Josephus and other extra biblical writings etc.

If we had a book to determine or verify if other Bible's had mistakes or verses added or taken out, where is it? Why would text be changed if we had the original
Understand textual criticism and you will know.
Just one point. No translation says "We should go to the LXX or the Vulgate or whatever" to translate our Bibles. They use all manuscripts at once, equally. The Masoretic, the Qumran (which hadn't been discovered in 1611), the Textus Receptus, the Majority Text, the Nestle-Aland text, the Westcott-Hort text, the Vulgate Text, the LXX text, the Peshitta text, etc. Not even the KJV used only one text, because the TR was a compilation, and the KJV translators were scholars, so they used all they had at the time, which was little (as in variety). But if they were transported to the 21st century they would have used all available texts, as they do today. They didn't commit idolatry because they worshipped the KJV or the TR as many do today.
There are critical errors in all other translations other than the KJV. Gene Kim did a video on this very thing a few months back. The example I know off the top of my head is in the NKJV Bible with regards to 1 Corinthians 6: 10-11. Look at that version vs the KJV. There was a youtube channel that built their entire ministry off of that critical error. There is a reason why the KJV is more widely used. Another example as Robert brought up.. the NIV removed 60,000 words from the text. How can that one even be considered a proper or even appropriate translation?

What if a person got saved by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ as 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, and after that changed the Word of God by adding or taking from the bible? Will he or she loose their salvation? Will all these corrupt translators go to hell? Are they no longer saved by grace through faith?
This is a excellent teaching Brother Breaker but what If you read a NIV (which is full of errors) as a non believer and you read 1Corinthians 15. ( still the gospel of paul) and you are saved did not grace still come. Mind you Im not putting down the KJV because I stand on KJV with you, Its the next best thing to learning Hebrew and reading the text.
However it may be that by the golry of God that He may reach us. Better than the alternative.

Look this up....its called " a collection of evidence against the traditional wording of Matthew 28;19....there is so much proof that the king James was twisted and changed some....the main thing we need to do is love God and love our neighbors covers it all....
I was embarrassed bc I would quote Luke 4:4 from the NIV. For 20 years no one corrected me until one day a dude I just met when I quoted "man should not live by bread alone" then stopped and he finished it. I said wait what n he said get a real King James Bible and stop reading niv.

It's interesting to me in the book of jasher, it mentions in great detail the sacrifice of Abraham and Issac. Satan appeared to Abraham Issac and Sarah.
@@loridennis2989 it also describes how Satan appeared to Sarah to tell her what Abraham and Isaac were doing. She went out looking for them. Along with the book of Enoch, they were uncovered in the 1940s I believe, with the dead sea scrolls. So much was left out of the king James, because like the commissioners of the other bibles, they had an agenda as well.
King James banned the Geneva Bible (written before KJV), so that the people would read his bible. Today that would called "killing off the competition". I just saying, are we idolizing the KJV.

No, it's not way off. lookup, KJV onlyism, do the research.
It is way off, but you have to study to show yourself approved and decide for yourself. I've never seen so many "christians" get angry as when I bring up the KJV.

In last day's they will change God's calendar and seasons. The true New year doesn't start till spring. Spring also symbolises New birth etc. Like God's word. When he returns he'll probably speak 2 simple words BE STILL and everything evil will cease to be
REMEMBER the only way to repent and be saved by Christ acts 11:14-18, Luke 11:9-13 , Zeph 3:9/ Acts 2:4 and Heb 12:23 Just follow only the original gospel tradition teaching not different churches but Jesus will guide and teach you to the end. John 10:1-6, 11-16, Acts 4:12 and 1 John 2:24-25!

The bible also mentions Alexandria. They stoned Stephan!

I have a 1842 Bible...HUGE mistake...clearly it states the Sabbath is Saturday NOT SUNDAY. It also has the apocrypha.
