please make a video or something about how to remove polymer varnish. There's absolutely nothing on the entire internet about it other than one little spot on the Golden website that says "removable with ammonia". Not everyone has any idea how that works, what specific products are recommended and how to apply it. There's videos and lots of info about all other varnishes but the polymer one.

Hi there, I'm so thankful to have found this video. I've been looking for reliable information on this topic and I find this video extremely helpful! My only problem is I can't seem to find "lint free soft cotton poly cloth" anywhere. I've tried several fabric stores and no one seems to offer it. Do you have any recommendations as to where I can look for this, please? Thank you so much, Chris

Use cut-up undershirts. That's what I did. Also, he ain't kidding about which solvent to use. I tried odorless mineral spirits at first -- it barely did anything. I think the "full-strength" solvent he uses in the video is better known as White Spirits. That's what's recommended on the Golden website.

@@joetache4 Thanks for the tips, Joe. Yea, I tried the odorless mineral spirits too. When it looked like it wasn't gonna do anything, I just left it on there, like, overnight. Jeez, that was a mistake! Yea it ate through the varnish but also started removing the paint from the canvas! Yikes. I'll def. be doing it better next time. ;p
