In fact, not the worst idea, as it would produce enough CO2 to possibly extinguish it, `though it wouldn´t be the first best choice if you would have enough liquid around or another big plate to put it on top.

Baking soda is one of the ingredients in a fire extinguisher. Farmers can buy it is 55 lbs bags to feed there cows, and has stopped many barn fires by just throwing it around. Little excessive for that little flame.

That last video of the cat and birds was extremely concerning for a multitude of reasons. I hope the Lovebirds are alright but unfortunately when put in situations like that it's not uncommon for them to pass away from stress. Poor little guys.
On top of that their living conditions were extremely unhealthy, hopefully that was just temporary placement if they do live.
Thank god someone else noticed, too.

There are some sections where feeding is encouraged, especially harmless camels,ostriches and giraffes, exactly for the fun and publicity factors. But where there are beastly predators and nasties, def yeah, keep them closed!

I was just explaining reality, patrons are usually allowed near non predator game and they often sell bird and herbivore feed for the animal feeding experience, this is a fact, not my opinion.

Although, oddly enough, I was very lucky in this regard. I was celebrating the new year at the dacha. There was a beautiful big Christmas tree, all dressed up. In toys and garlands. And there are more than ten cats living there, but they have never tried to jump on the Christmas tree! The maximum that they did was lightly tapping their paws on the Christmas tree toys that were below. I have some cats who are not very interested in the Christmas tree. Therefore, it is quite strange to see that it turns out that most cats can't stand Christmas trees.😅
