Ben is hands down one of the absolute best RUclipsrs to consume content from when it comes to Facebook and Google, I've literally learnt how to do Google ads in less than a day after doing FB ads for 2+ years. Thank you so much Ben for how simple you make these videos to listen to and follow
Running a sofa cleaning company, this video is gonna help me, I'm taking action right now, I will keep you guys in toutch regarding the results of my ads :) Thank you for the video
Ben i have to thank you. You have taught me FB Ads in record time after a 30 year corporate career and now with you on Google Ads. Thank you so much no one else does it better :). Thanks Ben and Happy New Year. I truely appreciate your content x
Hi Ben, You are the real deal!!!! No BS. This video and others that you created are packed with valuable information and I was able to learn the basics from you in no time! Subscribed and ready to learn more! Thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge and not only worried about selling another course! Thanks again mate!
Ben, I have to thank you again for this amazing video. You make a very complex task so simple. Of course some things have already changed since you published it, but nothing too hard to figure out. Two years in, I'm still struggling to get profitable, but it's showing promise. Just started another Google campaign because I had my best month the last time I ran one, though no conversions showed...I must not have that set up right. Anyway, Persistence is my middle name! PS. I'm originally from Worcester, just up the road. :)
After 2 years you are still struggling to be profitable? What kind of offers or business are you into, if you don't mind my asking? And did you look at all the elements that take the viewer from your ad to your offer: funnel, headline, landing page, offer, copy-writing and such? Being persistent is great, but it helps if you kind of break down what could be the issue regarding conversions (in my opinion, of course).
man, your videos are soo useful. Just found your google ads channel and it's as great as your facebook channel. Thank you so much for the videos. Very helpful
Thank you that really helps someone who has done this for decades but at a managerial role. And now having my own business and need to get my hands dirty 🎉.
Man maybe you don't believe but I've seen a lot of tutorials on Google ads for beginners but this was the perfect one. Amazing man I'm going to check ✅ every video ... Thanks 🙏 Love from India
oh Ben...if you knew how many of your material I have been consuming over the years and how many time you saved me from massive headaches! I think I just might be falling in love! 😅
Wow! Greetings from Florida! So impressed with the extensive information contained in your videos, and I am completely appreciative. Had to like, save, comment & subscribe as a big "THANK YOU" for all your hard work. After this video, I will most certainly check out your other video recommendations!
Hey Ben! Do you have a video on how to use Google ads for Amazon affiliate links? Would that be a viable option? Or does this video pretty much cover that?
Would you recommend Google search campaigns for a high end clothing brand? Usually with clothes the appeal tends to be visual so I am wondering what you think about search campaigns as a starting point for this type of business.
Hello Ben, thank you for these videos, they really help me as a beginner in advertising. I have one question about creating search ads. Is it possible to create an ad that is not dynamic? Instead, it should be static, with just one title tag and meta description that won't change?
in this video you have exact and phase mixed with keywords. In another video you have the same KW twice but broad and phase match. Which way do you actually recommend?
Another amazing video thank you. Just wanted to ask, the ad I am setting up is a service based company, one man show. Is there any budget that would be too small that will just be waste of money, they won't be shown really if you use that budget?
Hello Ben, awesome video. I have a question: What if you're an Affiliate Marketer where you don't own the business or the product or service you wanna run Google Ads for? Which would you choose between Sales or Leads?
Been binge watching these videos, thanks so much Ben. Question: You recommend going with the serach based ad when starting. I sell food products on a Shopify store. Do you suggest I do a "Shopping" ad instead? Or should I run both?? Thanks
Shopping ads will do the trick for you as running search ads for every product will be hectic task to do. In shopping ads you can integrate Google merchant center for your every product and it will dynamically use it. So, I would recommend you should use shopping ads
Glad to hear that :) I think you could go either way there. You could get started with search with a couple of products just to test the water. But Shopping is likely to be your better option longer term.
At the last, when it asks for Final URL, can we add the url of our google business profile?? Can we advertise it like we do in smart campaign...?? Like if I dont have a website
Great video! One question, Ben - Is Google trying different combinations of headlines and descriptions and suggesting which combination performed the best?
Hey Ben Awesome video. I've already bought your FB course but need to be in Google ads as thats my best leads. Question:I set up as website but want people to click through to a lead form. Can I change it once campaign started and dies it matter? Thanks man. Craig
Ben, thank you for your videos! Do help a lot! But I have an issue: When I go through choosing a campaign type (search, performance max etc.), there's no any other option, but Performance max. What could be a possible reason? Thank you in advance!
Ok...the fun fact is that apparently you must have your windows always being updated 😅 so a good advice for all procrastinators as I am - do not snooze on your Windows notifications about updating system 🥲 After I did it, I got all campaign types on my list. Weird, but true.
Hi Ben, thanks for the video. I’ve been asking quite a few questions in these which I apologise for. One more though, what’s the advantage of beginning with clicks rather than conversions? Also, when should you change it over?
No problem :) When you have more optimisation events - which you always will do when you optimise for clicks, that can help the campaign optimise initially.
@@BenHeathGoogleAds thanks for the fast reply here -- loving your content (still new to this)! it looks like there is not an option for clicking a button with phone calls. Am I missing something?
If you have call from ads and book an appointment on your website set as your goals, when you get to: 'select the ways you would to reach your goal' should you not check both website visits and phone calls?
My Google Search Ad is on the "Review" step and any time it is here it says "checking for errors." When I check back the next day, it typically erases everything I do and does not save the draft properly. My Headlines missing, descriptions missing, settings gone, everything erased. Why doesn't it auto save??? It says "saving draft" and the circle spins forever. And when I come back the next day it did not in fact save the draft. This has happened twice now, I remade it, and am hoping Google and review the dang thing before it erases. I can't believe there's not a manual "save draft" button anywhere.

Yes it's possible to do that for sure.
Hey! What's up? How to read case studies correctly when choosing a contractor?
Where do people learn this, things? Does google offer classes?tutorials?
in this video you have exact and phase mixed with keywords. In another video you have the same KW twice but broad and phase match. Which way do you actually recommend?
where do u put ur affiliate link?
Another amazing video thank you. Just wanted to ask, the ad I am setting up is a service based company, one man show. Is there any budget that would be too small that will just be waste of money, they won't be shown really if you use that budget?
Good question. I typically wouldn't start with less than $10 per day. Best of luck!
Amazing video Ben thanks! Quick question, at what CTR would you start upping the budget?
Thanks a lot. I wouldn't usually base that decision on CTR - it would usually be based on the ROAS we're generating
Can you help me figure out what the forecast of the advertising budget and the result is based on?
Hello Ben, awesome video.
I have a question: What if you're an Affiliate Marketer where you don't own the business or the product or service you wanna run Google Ads for?
Which would you choose between Sales or Leads?
Thanks a lot :)
I would usually go with leads and use an intermediary step before presenting the affiliate offer.
Been binge watching these videos, thanks so much Ben. Question: You recommend going with the serach based ad when starting. I sell food products on a Shopify store. Do you suggest I do a "Shopping" ad instead? Or should I run both?? Thanks

@@BenHeathGoogleAds Amazing. I really appreciate you taking the time to reply. One of my new favorite channels!
Is it possible to target specific apps to target with a video campaign?
Ben, Does this apply to commodities such as ship equipment?
Yes :)
At the last, when it asks for Final URL, can we add the url of our google business profile?? Can we advertise it like we do in smart campaign...?? Like if I dont have a website
Could you do one video about shopping ads ?
Sure, good suggestion :)
Great video! One question, Ben - Is Google trying different combinations of headlines and descriptions and suggesting which combination performed the best?
Thanks - yes that's right :)
Something like A/B TESTING I suppose
Hi! Good day! Orders are very unstable. It is not clear how to calculate the budget for advertising. Where to start searching for mistakes?
Hey Ben Awesome video. I've already bought your FB course but need to be in Google ads as thats my best leads. Question:I set up as website but want people to click through to a lead form. Can I change it once campaign started and dies it matter? Thanks man. Craig
Glad to hear it :)
I'd recommend recreating the campaign with the new set up.
How do you add images next to your search ad? It looks like it's text only...
Ben, thank you for your videos! Do help a lot! But I have an issue:
When I go through choosing a campaign type (search, performance max etc.), there's no any other option, but Performance max. What could be a possible reason? Thank you in advance!
Happy to help :)
Really? Are you using a computer to create your campaigns?
Ok...the fun fact is that apparently you must have your windows always being updated 😅 so a good advice for all procrastinators as I am - do not snooze on your Windows notifications about updating system 🥲
After I did it, I got all campaign types on my list. Weird, but true.
For beginners is it better clicks or manual CPC bidding ?
I would usually recommend just optimizing for clicks
6:40
Hi Ben, can I use Google ads for a pressure washing business? Im jot selling shoes or items as such but a service.
You sure can :)
8:32 You forgot to explain set maximum cost per click. How much money should we set this at?
Hi Ben, thanks for the video. I’ve been asking quite a few questions in these which I apologise for. One more though, what’s the advantage of beginning with clicks rather than conversions? Also, when should you change it over?
No problem :)
When you have more optimisation events - which you always will do when you optimise for clicks, that can help the campaign optimise initially.
Hi! In what cases is the cost of contextual advertising not paid off?
There are tons of scenarios - that the nature of all advertising. That question is like asking in which scenarios do people not win football matches.
how do you set up conversion goal if the goal is clicking a 'call now' button?
If you set that as your action - Google will optimize for it
@@BenHeathGoogleAds thanks for the fast reply here -- loving your content (still new to this)! it looks like there is not an option for clicking a button with phone calls. Am I missing something?
Hi Ben, does this video still apply if I am building an e-commerce store on May 2024 and want to run Google ads to bring traffic to my store?
Sure, there's lots you can take from this video :)
When accessing the Ads tab there's no pencil icon available anymore. How and where the heck one goes to edit their ads now?!
If you have call from ads and book an appointment on your website set as your goals, when you get to: 'select the ways you would to reach your goal' should you not check both website visits and phone calls?
I don't see why not :)
Hi Ben, my account has search network and display network greyed out for some reason. Any idea why this would happen?
That’s odd. I haven’t heard of that before. Is it a new ad account?
Can you not edit your headlines once the ad is running?
Yes you can :)
My Google Search Ad is on the "Review" step and any time it is here it says "checking for errors." When I check back the next day, it typically erases everything I do and does not save the draft properly. My Headlines missing, descriptions missing, settings gone, everything erased. This has happened twice now, I remade it, and am hoping Google and review the dang thing before it erases. I can't believe there's not a manual "save draft" button anywhere.
Sounds like you may have an internet connection issue - Google Ads requires quite a lot of bandwidth.
Hope that helps,
Charlie
