Learned Meta Ads from Ben Heath and doing the same for Google Ads as well. Love him, his style, and the fact that he tries to give as much as possible. ❤
Landed on your RUclips page to learn the Google Ads and blown away by your entrepreneurial story. Respect and Congrats for the success! Also thank you for the tutorial!
Absolute banger video mate. Not only did you cover everything in more than sufficient detail, you did it in such a way that didn't feel foreign for a beginner. I'll be back for sure
You made this process easy to understand, as small business owners we got our ad performing better than before. We are getting more calls and better leads, and I feel less overwhelmed navigating the google ad world.
out of all the videos on this topic that I have watched on YT (And There Were Dozens), I have learned more from you in just a few videos than all the rest combined. AND it's FREE - THANK GOD! May the universe bless you greatly. Oh, and I subscribed to your channel as well...
Thank you for these videos, it's so good your offering your expertise for free. I'm just starting out helping a small company and these videos are like gold dust.
Thank you so much for explaining it in such detail❤ I love it. Unfortunately I cannot see the "Create an account without a campaign" button. Why do you think is that? Thank you!🙏
Great video and always my go back to for a little refresh. I find that I get amazing CTR when pinning item as no.1 (like 50% or more) but often when pinning it then gives me a poor ad score..is there any way to stop this? Would be good to do a video on some workarounds to improve ad score and drive more conversions. Thanks as always for your awesome content. Cheers Drive!
did you publish your campaign according to his instructions or did you make a little changes based on tips from others? I mean, I've seen many videos about this stuff and people generally tells us diff strategies so I'm kindaa lost lol
I echo the sentiments below, fantastic video with digestible content--well done! I just opened my solo criminal defense practice in August, but I'm just now getting around to launching a google ad campaign. Would you happen to have any videos re generating leads for a law practice?
Hi Ben, I love the videos, as always. I'm really keen for you to do a deep dive on how to set up a local search campaign for low search volumes. I'm based in regional Australia, and the campaigns I'm working on have 0-10 keyword volumes. I'm keen to hear about how you would approach it.
@@BenHeathGoogleAds Thanks for writing back. Yea, to get even more specific. Imagine you're an arborist, for example, who would be able to afford to drive 3-4 hours for a $2000 + job across a large area and a few regional towns. Google shows super low search volumes, but there is definitely people searching... how would you approach starting a campaign, ad groupings and budgets? As always, thanks! Your videos have helped me start a fCMO consulting agency...LOVE IT!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Can I ask couple of quick questions, please? I have ads running, but I want to go and see headlines, description, keywords attached to them? I also want to preview those ads. I remember there was a way earlier (3 years back), but I am not able to do it now. Any suggestions, please? Thanks,
I wish I'd watched this video before just going ahead and creating the account and campaign at the same time. I'm struggling now to find out how I can change some of my key words and descriptions/headers.
Thank you for great video. It helped me alot, as it is my 1st video on Googles ads. Can you do a similar videos with the same simplicity & elaboration on Google Analytics.
Hey thanks so much! So for some reason it takes me to the page where I'm asked to create my first campaign, I still haven't gone through theset up process as yet but I'm stuck on that landing page. Missed the skip option, can you assist?
Great tutorial mate! There is just one thing I do not understand. If we are sending people to our home page, how does Google know if we converted a lead or not? Like there is not form for them to fill. Also how it works if we select the "call" option? I hope you find the time to answer these. Thanks!
Thanks :) You need to set up conversion tracking in your Google ad account. I have an older video that shows how to do that by linking Google Analytics and important goals. I’ll publish another video about this soon.
@@BenHeathGoogleAds Thank you for your reply! Looking forward to your new video! That part is a bit confusing for me! How to set up lead generation on my site... I have one more off topic question..am about to enroll into FB Mastery, but can you please clarify if the "Calculator & When To Kill Ads Masterclass" and "The $200 Million Creative And Copy Swipe File" are one time payment or monthly? I sent an email to support but still did not receive reply
Amazing. I knew around 15% of this, "knew" maybe another 25%. Learned a lot. As a career creative newly managing google ads, I've never been excited about setting up google ad campaigns until now. Truly great info, can't wait to learn more.
When setting up a campaign with multiple goals, how does this impact performance? Will all goals be given equal consideration, and would this improve ad performance or potentially hinder it?

What do you think about people saying you should use max clicks until you get 30 conversions? Starting with max conversions may lead to you not getting any impressions.
I don't hate that logic and used to follow that myself for a long time. But I now do feel that Google is smart enough to make conversions work from day one. We have tested this with new accounts and found that optimising for conversions or conversion value performed best.
@@BenHeathGoogleAds iam currently learning I think you need to provide some conversions data for automation bidding because it works with machine learning algorithm and it works efficiently when it had the data One more thing the automation is good when used with broad type because it provides a large data set to ml algorithms to make informed decision if you use others types the ml algorithm will struggle If in In goals section if you want to use data driven attribute you should have 300 conversions and 3000 impressions in a month to work efficiently for conversions
Good questions, those are keyword match types. They affect which searches your ads are shown to. I have a whole video on keyword match types I’d recommend going through for more info on that :)
While setting up my campaign, there was an option to choose "Automatically Created Assets" directly under the "Broad Match Keywords" area. Which would you recommend? Allowing "Automatically Created Assets" or only allowing the use of assets I provided?
I would usually let Google add those in. They are usually good. But you want to keep an eye on what they produce and make sure. Sometimes the AI doesn't get it right!
For the campaign you set up at 38:34 - will you later be able to tell from the data which of the keywords are driving the most conversion value and conversions?
Just add you busines name and url or phone number, and then next, you will see the option to skip, skip all the way off the campaign setup process. Skip creating new campaign isn't available for me too just found this way out. Hope it helps

That’s the display campaign type. When you go through the campaign creation process, you need to select Display for that.
