Went there first in 1989 and visited many times over the years wolf man Jack and the Shangri-las were there when I visited back in the day,, going again tomorrow for the day can't wait!!! then back to the UK Tuesday after a great USA vacation bring it on old town ❤still got on my garden shed my little darlin's licence plate plaque 34 years on and still as good as the day I bought it ❤
I have some old 80’s pix of when I was kid at old town. Also back in the mid 2000’s I used to do the Friday night cruise there. My name is on the board in the back for Friday night cruiser of the month.
I believe Micah that you are the vlogger that tributes Hignway 192 the most that I have followed. Adam does something here and there. But You pay homage to everything there much more. Thanks For always showing off everything there
I love Old Town. I don't have memories from long ago, but I do have great memories from visiting on vacation for about the last 6 years. I live in Florida now, and those memories and good times are part of what put me on my journey to move here. Great video, and great story about how you and Adam met!
1993 stayed at a Days Inn which I believe was next door or at least within walking distance to Old Town. It was a pretty cool place to get some food and some tacky souvenirs. 💖
It's always interesting 2 see the way towns & friends evolve & grow😊 Awesome pics. As always thx 4 taking us all along on your glimpse into the past & present
Great video ! I remember Little Darlings back in its glory days ! The music was from my Mom’s generation so one time she took me with her there to see Lou Christie, a famous 50’s teen idol. Beyond The Blue Horizon was one of his most famous songs, it was featured in the movie Rainman with Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman. Anyway, Little Darlings was the place to be back then ! Thanks for the memories and thanks Mom for making me part of it ! I miss her so much ❤😢
Hi Micah, just finished watching your video of Old Town and had to go back and look at the videos my husband took back in the 80s. Omg your so tight. Can't believe how much it has changed. Thank you for all the great videos you post. Really enjoy them all.❤
me and my family would get the 25 cent sodas from the general store and the spring rolls from the chinese spot....not the same now but i love the memories thanks for sharing...
Awesome video as usual. First went to Old Town in 1990 and have seen it change over the years and I really love going there Great to see you are getting better 👍
I got great memories of going to the photo op to be photographed as a cowboy with my family, then go to the A&W store and have a cream Soda shake 🍧 Also I remember the Puertorrican day there, with the Salsa bands & Puertorrican food , as a Puertorrican I remember it so well
Remember going to there as a kid . We would stay at the stagecoach hotel,it’s gone but if you have time maybe could find where it was and what’s there now.
January 1999 was my first experience. It looks very much the same minus all the carnival rides. We have visited there many times over the last 20+ years
Funny, it is called Old Town...but if they keep changing things, adding new stuff and getting rid of old stuff... it is not really that old of a town... ha ha... Great match ups... I have never been... every time you do a video there , the more I want to go next time I am in Florida....glad to hear you say you are getting better... don't push yourself too hard , we can wait for another video when you are better....thanks for sharing...take care... have a great day...thanks.....👍👍👍👍
I still think the NASA "retro" tour of Cape Canavaral at KSC is rarely filmed (so maybe it can't be). But the 1960s bunkers holding the mission control are only 800 yards from the launchpad. A computer room is just that - a computer that fills a room. Could be cool
Is there used to be a drop tower where that fountain used to be and where the bar is currently sitting. There are also used to be an old go-kart track in the front entrance to Old Town
Was it my imagination or was Margaritaville located in Old Town around 1995? I think it may have been there before it moved to Universal. Used to stay at the Days Inn across the street from here. We still stay on 192, just farther west. Love these videos!
Micah, thanks for this video. The link for the little darlins video did not show up on the screen, and I can't find it anywhere. Would you please post the link to the Little Darlings video. I would love to watch it. Thanks
I visited in 1990 I think its rhe same also a place called larzland where there were arcade games but I can only find an emporium online and it was that long ago, any ideas?
I'm the artist that painted all the murals in Kissimmee. Elvis across the street and A&W in Old Town as well. 🥰
My favorite place ever in the whole world!
Hope your feeling better Micah, I love binging your videos!
I LOVE these videos comparing the past with the present. Great job as always, Micah...👏🌿🤠
I love this video. Your 192 then and now video's are the best!

Thanks for posting Micah! Love Old Town and the General Store. Always remember a baseball card shop towards the front - loved going in there!

I’m sure there used to be a go cart track just as you go in on the left near the shoneys ?

Been going since 89. Last time I was there they had swings there by the road not the wheel. That was the early 2000s.
Was there a quake ride there?
Sure there was in 2003/4 loved rummaging in the little stores & the cruise was amazing :-)

I am with you I would not go on that either.
How much money do I have to pay you to get a better mic?
