Dan Mongrain recently did a guitar cover of 'Jibber & Twitch' on his facebook,.. i watched it out of vague interest and boredom and became transfixed... i instantly realized the pure source (that All the other bands had copied) and fell in love. - My girlfriend doesnt understand but our kids love it: ''It sounds like the young ones''
Reeves and Mortimer make me laugh til i cry for reasons i dont quite comprehend, your music does the same to me.
It makes me SOO happy, like an inside joke that gets funnier and funnier. - It thrills, and delights me.
I'd like to personally thank you for your service to music.

I'm sure that the art of this giant of music will be evaluate as Beatles, Pink Floyd and the most famous musician of the world. 1:00:03 What Kavus says from here is so profound and 1:00:30 is something I can relate to holistically. I know I am not alone in saying, Tim Smith and Cardiacs gave me something that no amount of money could buy. Let me put it this way; the gift Tim gave me was akin to allowing me to add another colour to the rainbow. Thank you, Tim, from the core of my being.

I've only known about Cardiacs and Dr. Tim Smith for a few months, but it hasn't taken long for them to become my favourite band. There's just, nothing that sounds like them. Dr Smith's work is an absolute testament to unbounded creativity and music for the sake of music, art for the sake of art.
I remember when I first listened to Sing to God last year, and was rather blown away by it, the music was so dense and energetic that I couldn't listen to it. Then, one night while I was in bed, I suddenly had a craving for the album. I listened to it until I fell asleep, and binged it all the following day, it fucking clicked. And every time I return to that album I somehow, against all odds, find something else to like about it. Listening to that album feels like being drenched in tar. I feel physically suffocated listening to songs like Fiery Gun Hand, it's such a brilliant piece of music.
All this to me makes Tim's condition so tragic, and yet it makes it's truely wonderful to see him finally be recognised, to see the positive response to fundraisers and to see him surrounded by such wonderful people.

All, of the noise, takes me to the outside, where there's all... Creations, joining in celebrated happiness and joy. All around the world. On land, and, in the Sea.

I’m a bit upset that everyone is talking all over Tim,who was clearly not himself.. particularly that twat in the red and black blazer:he thanks the admin before the disabled man behind him, who’s being honoure.. Disgraceful!
I knew Tim in the late 80s/early90s and this, to me, is fucking heartbreaking because it feels so patronising. Miss you Tim, but then I have done for a long time ❤

Christ life is such a cruel bastard to such a guy. All these people are fab talented loving friends of his. I dunno I assume he’s able to say whether he wants to be there or not, but considering his penchant for fuck all interviews, I dunno man. Both wonderful and agonising to watch x

If anyone knows where I can find the version of Lilly White's Party that starts at 52:20, I would love to know!
