Trolling Tips : Line Counter Calibration

Today we bring you another Walleye Trolling Tip: Line Counter Calibration. I know that there are guys who still debate the importance of calibrating your line counter reels, but the fact of the matter is that you are either calibrated or you are guessing! I challenge you to pick up a couple of tent stakes, and put them out (exactly) 100 feet apart and just see how close your line counter reels are to being calibrated, and then you can decide for yourself, how important line counter calibration really is.
