Why is everyone saying its a newer version of the G2C? Wasnt the G3C already a newer version of the G2C...? Taurus naming nomenclature is really confusing
15rd mag offered , street price now at 250 … Wonder how much a discount u can get a G3C for in a week or two ? My G3X is one of my favorite pistols. Never sees the safe .. makes my CZ P-10S jealous
It's a deal breaker to not have one for me. 1911s have them and no issues for decades. It is just a training issue. I carry AIWB. The extra measure makes a difference. Curious WHY it makes such an issue the other way.
I have a G3C I bought new on sale for $229. I specifically bought it for a cheap beater pistol for going fishing, mowing the yard on the John Deere, working on vehicles etc etc etc. Basically anything you still want a gun but don't want to have your much more expensive handguns on you. I also keep it loaded in the bathroom so I have a gun at the ready while in there when I store it between uses. I might have to look into one of these as well for a backup elcheapo so I have 2.
We appreciate the feedback but we want to point out that Taurus lists the G3c and G2c as "striker" on their website and press releases. @SportsmansOSS It seems to be only "marketing strategy". If you see the internals, you can check it is not striker, but double action ("single action with restrike capability".
Nope. I have several G2C G3C and built a magazine supply for those. No more changing magazines. Why Taurus? They SIG p226 magazines fit the G3 series. Why do this? what manner of idiocy causes manufacturers to change the magazines? GREED
I like it. (pros) Taurus in my experience, makes good reliable firearms. (cons) However the capacity should be larger, and no optic cut as a standard, renders the Taurus GX2 as a deal breaker for me!
Thumb safety. They already know their {average customer} is going to carry this in a pocket without a holster. 😂 plus its cheap enough you can just buy a new one when it inevitably falls off a bridge🤫 The only unknown: Is it reliable? Will it feed the cheapest of the cheap steel case ammo? Questionable remanufactured ammo? Will it last 10,000 rounds or do you buy a new one every 2,000? Only time will tell.
Sort of yeah but the GX4 Carry does have slightly better fit and finish and a lighter trigger from what I've seen as far as reviews go. Makes sense though as the GX4 is a higher teir of gun.
Man, not having to pay an import tax definitely reflects on the price.
I have plenty of guns and some higher dollar ones but im still a Taurus fan. Ive always had good luck with Taurus
I don’t know who put your chart together, but both my g2c and g3c were single/ double action. NOT single action only as listed.
Technically it is SAO with a restrike capability. It's not really meant to be fired double action, unless you experience a light primer strike.
Nice loved my Gx4, I just trust my 43x a little more.
Does it use G3C magazines?
It uses GX4 Carry mags.
No optic cut? I'll wait.
They could’ve used this line for a premium line up of handguns

Hmmm interesting. None of the GX2 reviewers are taking the slide off and showing the internals.
ruclips.net/video/NVKGBFpbNec/видео.html these are the internals. Sames as inside the GX4 if you take a look.

Would like it if it was available without a manual safety.
it is. the gx4 carry.
Of course

@@captaincodebook3200 I don't know why they're complaining when they can opt for a gx4 without a safety😂, I think some may have brain rot symptoms
Is a Nickel Finish coming soon?

Nice looking pew pew.
CORRECTION to the chart: G2C and G3C ARE NOT STRIKER...

Won't the 15rd and 17rd mags work
Nope. I have several G2C G3C and built a magazine supply for those. No more changing magazines. Why Taurus? They SIG p226 magazines fit the G3 series. Why do this? what manner of idiocy causes manufacturers to change the magazines? GREED
agree. half the reason I have G2c is P226 mag compatabilty
nah fr half the reason i bought the gun was because i can use other mags (caniktp9 , sig226). the other half is because it's cheap and it works
The world doesn’t revolve around you, bud. This pistol isn’t marketed for you.
If you don't like it, then don't buy it. Anyways, like you said, you already have several magazines. Why buy another pistol?
If you have a gx4 carry those magazines are compatible with this pistol. They just extend out a little.

Same or different magazines?
Different, unless Taurus some how used the same magazine body and got an extra round in it.
seem like.a decent update over the G3C
This firearm is like those Madden Games they come out EVERY YEAR: Same thing just with a different name…G2C 2.0😂
It looks to be a GX4 trigger.
So it’s basically HK CC9 minus the Ambi and with a man safety. (Sorry had to say it)
I have the GX4 Carry TORO with a Holosun 507k. Awesome pistol. And no manual safety. I’ll stick with that

It fit G2C holsters?
Pointless
Basically a gx4 carry with different grip😊
