You know something Janet ... I just went back and re-watched you on the X factor ... can't believe it was over a decade ago. 😲😲 I've listened to a lot of artists, originals, covers ... from classical to power metal ( I have very wide taste) ... but there's probably only a handful that have ever actually made me cry. I genuinely wept at seeing that audition again. So beautiful. I find it difficult to put down in words (as the song says!). Your talent ... as the judges recognised...was there for everyone to see and love back then as it continues to be now. You have an inner and outer beauty that is truly individual and quite special. As I said below, and I will say again now, thank God you continued to sing and develop as a genuinely superb artist. I think in one of your comment videos to the irritating (a bit like midges IMHO) troll gang out there you said that you are just living and enjoying your life and making music. Sure everyone can like or dislike a singer ... if we were all the same how boring would that be...but the world has enough venom and hate to go around so my advice guys is don't watch this young star... go seek elsewhere and find a video of folk banging rocks together and eat your heart out. It's possibly more your level. It's OK to say to an artist that it's not to your taste (I've said the same about KidzBop 🤣)...or you could offer constructive criticism which we all can benefit from in our lives... but hate? Really? And to "hate" and insult ... often quite personally ... the person behind the music who let's face it you have likely never met and certainly don't know... well that's really beyond me and I truly don't get where you're coming from.....It's a cheap shot. So ....Janet ... thank goodness for your spirit and ability to rise above that rubbish. I'm sorry if this is a boring essay... and if you got to the end of it the medal is on it's way! There's a wonderful soul inside you young lady...it shines through your music and through your eyes and smile. Never let the flame go out. Burn brightly. Much love to you 💜💜
