Best anime I've seen and the game is even better. I love all the scientific theories that are really fleshed out to a much higher level in the VN than the anime. The other thing that you didn't mention that really works well for this game is the emotional impacts of some of the choices you ultimately have to make. To reach the true end you have to destroy some other characters lives and the game does a really good job in making these decisions feel impactful, to the point you just don't want to send back certain messages because you know the damage they will cause. BTW have you played Steins;Gate Zero yet? It's not as good as the original, but it really adds a lot to Steins;Gate in flushing out the events that lead to the true end. Definitely worth a play.
I'm doing a sort of kind of LP of it on this channel. By sort of kind of... I mean that LPs aren't technically allowed, so once I knew that I started editing it down to the story context and my reactions after the first chapter. Basically, I'm making so that it appeals to people who want to see other's reactions (and that anyone who would be willing to experience it first through it probably would never buy the game in the first place). But yeah. I'm going through it currently.
Nice, I really like how S;G Zero allows you to explore the beta world line which never gets fleshed out in the original. This game really does a great job of showing the consequences of Okabe's decisions in the original and the toll everything had on him. I really liked the darker overall tone. Logic sometimes takes an effort to follow at times (and really needs a viewing of all endings to fully grasp) but overall it was a very good addition to the S;G universe.
one thing VNs have going for them is the higher quality artwork :3 i shed a tear looking at the difference which cant be helped The art for the Grisia series is beautiful :3
I played this and I got the platinum for it. It is without a doubt the best Visual Novel ever!
@Jacob Unger no not at all it's like basically an audiobook

grisaia? looks kinda average for vn art to me (unless we're including indie vn's) but I only played the first , does it get better later?
