I'll never fall in love has always been my favourite and she's a lady 💗💗💗 Tom Jones 😍
I grew up with mum and dad every Saturday morning listing to him
Well all you young ones, this is how a ballad is done, genuine passion, power, feeling, and the world stops as he takes to the stage. Aint no boy band here. Great to hear Tom is still getting into the heart of his audiences. Thanks for the vid great to see your reaction. Cheers from the Scottish Highlands.
His range is off the charts
My favorite song from Mr. Jones. My momma made us listen to him on our family road trips. Good memories.
Sir TomJones is a singing legend with a string of hits. One of the greatest voices of all time. Hard to believe he’s 80 years old now.
He sure is
And his voice is just as good today!
And still sounds the same today....damn!! Sing it to me Sir Tom..😍🇦🇺
Saw him last year...Still sounds GREAT!
Name a better singer!? At 80?!
Sir Tom sang with many of the greats in the music industry when he had his own tv show. Yes, I am old enough to have remembered him then.
Young lady, I love your reactions. They are so real & honest. Keep it up.
See how strong and projecting by how far away he has to be away from the mic. He’s so good at the cry in his voice too.
Yes!
I’ve seen + heard him on “ THE VOICE UK”( on RUclips) + he is still just as great. Most of the time, he sings impromptu without a mic. He still at 83 yrs old, doesn’t need the mic!
THE JAYY SHOW,
You’re reaction is just priceless. The song is a story of a crime of passion.
Manchester, England.
Love, love Sir Tom Jones. He is gorgeous today too.
Tom Jones is full of soul even in his 80s ..
Great reaction sweet sister, I loved the reaction. Tom Jones such power and class.
At 80 yrs old & a voice that's still the same. This man is still awesome looking.
Yo tom the man, what a singer, in a league of his own
Forget every other Tom Jones songs, you MUST listen to “I Who Have Nothing” by him. You’ll never be the same.
joseph speruta , yes !
We can agree that a Welsh Singer sang the greatest version of this song first recorded by Ben E.King and the first single by Status Quo but was it, Sir Tom or Dame Shirley Bassey? :)
Loved Tom! I was a young girl then, but the voice was it!
And because of Delilah he had to return to the "Green, green grass of home"...
Oh, god! You share the same head canon as I did. He was singing that song as he is getting executed for killing Delilah.
@@salmanedy @george haha, I hadn't seen it like that way!! That's so funny! 😆
80 years old and could still out sing most of the electro
crap bein produced today.
I think he killed Delilah. “I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more”😳
👀
then he crys WHY? WHY? WHYYYY DELILAH! i can picture him on his knees over the dead body🤢😆crazy storytelling in music, like a modern opera.
Perhaps the most upbeat mainstream song about murdering a woman (so far) ^^
Before I understand english I enjoyed the song so much back in the early seventies. But after the joy just slipped away.
Lag Swag funny
That's the hardest Snapping ever. Nothing like a nice murder ballad. Tom Jones is the man. It's obvious why he got along so well with Elvis. Thanks for sharing. Much love and respect from Baltimore as always.
I love the expression in her eyes as the song progressed.
Best reaction to ANY song ever!
Is there a Delilah you can be mad at?? Not anymore lol. The last verse of the song tells you that..."She stood there laughing. I felt the knife in my hand, and she laughed no more." Yeah....he killed her.
LOL!! Your response to this was priceless! Love seeing you enjoy the music of my generation. Love you 😂😂😂
The thing about great singers is they take you on a journey with them.
HE KILLED THE B.....!
Yes JAYY he's a bad ass
Excellent analysis of this song. Jones' vocals were as near to perfection as it gets. The passion he packed into this song was remarkable and I think unparalleled.
best/funniest reaction i've seen so far
crime of passion
What a fucking good voice.
Yes, I was born in 1961 and the music was GREAT!
Luckyyyy
I was born in 1962 and love his music also
No youngsters, please Sue, 1961 indeed :)
No youngsters, please Jean, 1962 indeed :)
Even as a kid when I saw him on Tv, I loved the Spanish gypsy and Bolero flair. He was so freakin cool. There is no alteration with him just power.
Its just a song, but it was crazy that he's singing a song that took her out at the end "Wow"!!!
Imagine a young Tom Jones talent today? they'd be an superstar of modern times with nothing close through competition out there now because it was an golden era that was too spoiled in greatness!!! where has it gone ? 😎👌👀
A song that will bring a tear to your eye is "Green Green Grass Of Home" by Tom Jones.
Is that right 👀
@@THEJAYYSHOW Green Green Grass of Home. 🤠✌
"Yes, Yes, Yes" LOL.....love that! Its OK, there were a lot of Delilahs out there, going to concerts and throwing their hotel keys at Sir Tom!
There were also a few pair of panties alongside those keys . I ain't mad ! If I were there I would have wrapped my room key in my panties and threw them at him ! 😂
Toms got some good pipes.
Yes yes
I saw THE FLICKERING SHADOWS OF LOVE ON HER BLIND.
Love your real. Love your reactions. 🎶👍
Tom Jones Is The Best 💯
Green, green grass of home neatly fits the consequences of Delilah and is also sang by the great man
Glad you're enjoying old school Tom jones. My mom had his LP records spinning on the player back in the 60s and 70s. If you haven't already, take a look at the song it's not unusual. By the way Tom Jones is still alive and kicking. He's one of the judges on the voice. Also he is welsh. Born in wales. As in near England, great britain.
Your reaction cracked me up here. 🤣🤣 It was genuine too. I loved it.
Great reaction, keep it up. I see you did a lot of the Tom Jones songs, so I'll go watch them👍
Thanks Jayy!, 💝
Try his song “It’s Not Unusual” and do the Carlton dance from Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Hilarious
Hugs from Poland
Tom and Elvis were very good friends. They'd see each other's shows in Vegas.
For an entertaining story (not a reaction, just on your own) you should look up Tom on Conan O'Brian where he talks about their "Bromance" and when Elvis sang to him in Tom's dressing room in Vegas whil he was in the shower. 😂😂
A Waltz.
A dark, sinister Waltz.
So many great songs of the 60's were dark. Maxwell's Silver Hammer, Excerpt from a Teenage Opera to name 2 more. But there were many. About death or people killing people.
Just a song dear, just great song.
great tune
You need to listen to his song - I who have nothing
Tom was or is great he still with us,great reaction.
you know he killed delilah. stabbed her. the police are coming to break down the door. lol
He killed her in the song, not in real life.
You are a national treasure. Love watching your reactions.
The BeeGees " Too Much Heaven"
In the song Tom Dooley Tom Dula kills a woman over unrequited love named Laura Foster this Tom Jones song the woman is also murdered with a knife 🔪. Love hurts when not returned.
Your heart is in the right place babe.
Hottest song ever recorded Donna Summer love to love you 1976
See how far away he had to hold the mike so as to not overpower it as well.
The Green Green Grass of home is another great song from him
Tom "The voice" Jones.
It is so amazing to the younger generation listening to Sir Tom Jone! The style of the arrangement was a Spanish Flamenco style! Since it seems that you like Tom Jone you should listen too to Engelbert Humperdinck who has the same style and had the same song writer! Please Release Me was one Engelbert Humperdinck first songs of many!
Makes me proud to be Welsh
True welsh legend
'Sir Tom singing 'A boy from nowhere' is another beautiful song you may want to react to. Very emotional.
#GoldenVoice
Delilah is just a character in a song but he killed her! did you notice that in the song? “I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more!”
I'll come find Delilah 😂 Fiddle sticks xx ya'll make me laugh. Respect.
Reaction was priceless, I love it.
Nice I love your reactions
Thank you so much
There is so much for you to enjoy.....we boomers left you a massive amount of music...
500th Like 🤘
Delilah is only between your ears where he sang her into being.
He was crying heartbroken in I'll Never Fall in Love Again, but wasn't gonna take cheating again, so Delilah paid the price. And that's how he ended up in prison in The Green Green Grass of Home
"Thunderball"James Bond Theme!
If you want to see him now you should watch him on the voice UK
Him and alan clarke of the hollies best singers of the 60s for me hands down
Try reacting to his song I Who Have Nothing - the live version from his TV show is the best version in my opinion.
They used to say he had the perfect smile.
you look shook haha nice reaction!
A couple of later songs he has done is The Boy from Nowhere and 24 Hours , which I think are Tom Jones at his Best !
Metaphor for Samson and Delilah. Delilah betrayed and cut Sampson hair and he lost his strength.
Never has a song about betrayal and murder suicide sounded so amazing lol
You must check out The Sensational Alex Harvey Band’s version of Delilah.
LMFAOO that u wanna fight Delilah... Hahahahahahaha!!!
it was a story...but it was a good one...
My 6 month old niece is named Delilah. Her brother is called Zephyr.
There's Delilah's all around the world.
If you liked him dancing around watch Tom Jones - Treat Her Right - This is Tom Jones TV Show
Bye bye Delilah~
You can look at the song from a stalker perspective too which is way more interesting haha. He thinks she's his and when he sees her with another guy he goes nuts and kills her.
Stalker? Not remotely close to a genuine stalking situation but it is a term vastly misunderstood and misused.
@@dougtaylor2803 If we go by that angle then he's conveniently outside her house knowing she's with a guy. How is that not stalking?? lol
Did I hit a nerve?.
@@sannaolsson9106 You may have hit a brick wall, but you utterly failed in hitting a nerve. You are in over your head here Sanna (If that IS your real name). Stalking as a legal term requires that certain elements of the crime be established in order to substantiate such a charge. While the qualitative and quantitative nature of these elements may vary by jurisdiction, one element almost always necessary is habitual behaviour, or a pattern of behaviour. In as much as the lyrics offer no indication of a pattern of behaviour, that crucial element could not be established and therefore, a charge of stalking would, if competently defended, fail. The circumstances described actually coincide much more closely with what has been described as a "crime of passion" whereby one partner finds the other in "flagrante delicto" which roughly translates to "in the act". Therefore, THAT is how it is NOT stalking! QED. You may not like the law, but it is what it is to protect the innocent from baseless accusations. I would add parenthetically that you may want to consider the foundation on which you stand before deciding to adopt your snarky approach.
@@dougtaylor2803 But....you seem to have missundersttood my whole point??? I said the song COULD be seen from another angle, that they weren't together and he was just an obsessive about her, had been breeping outside her house, saw her with a guy and got jealous and killed her. I never said that this id def what the song is about. I said it COULD be seen in that way and if you see it that way, then it's stalking. I can't believe I had to explain this 😂
The song is about the biblical story of Samson and Delilah
"Green Green Grass of Home"!!!!
You should see it when did the version live
LOL.. I love your reaction faces ^_^ ... you did great baby... and well SIR Tom.. is a thing.. he is still stealing ladies with footage from 1965 >.>
Please look up Engelbert Humperdinck. He is a crooner who was popular at the same time as Tom here. His silky smooth voice will make you MELT.
Oh Jayy I found Elvis and Tom singing Never fall in love. Sent it to you on messenger.
I always felt that "I'll never fall in love", and "Delilah" were about the same girl. He stabbed her inthe end. Elvis admired Tom, so that says it all about his voice.
Samson & Delilah
The is no Delilah 'cause he killed her.
