I love the voiceover - freaking awesome! It's you but better! Jokes! I am going to use your link and buy one. Shame my Mom was given a DJI Ronin gimbal for her birthday by my Dad after he spent a fortune on a new lens for his camera. According to my Mom "It was freaking expensive, and it's complicated, too much for my old brain". Great video Phillip. Keep it simple! I love it!

The new Artlist voice overs are AMAZING!! I love them so much! Yes, that's the thing about this gimbal, so simple, nothing crazy, great price, superb payload and the algorithm on this just works so well, it is so damn smooth! Thanks!

I borrowed way too much money during the lockdown to start up a solo photo/video enterprise, A7S3, lenses up the wazoo, RS2 Pro, lighting gear, you name it. The idea was to take control of my own financial future. Huh. Seeing what $100 AI software and a smartphone camera can do has really opened my eyes to the new reality, and that reality is that we don't belong in this world any more.
Time to pivot into real estate.

Real estate is fun, but there comes a point where it bores the hell out of me as I just need people in my shots to give it meaning. I've spend a boat load of money on camera gear in my life too, and every single penny was worth it lol!

@@PhillipSkraba Yeah I meant why would a client pay an experienced professional with pro grade gear when they can get a "good enough" result from AI apps and a smartphone. It's an existential crisis, not just for us video types but for anyone who's not paying attention to the tech bro sector right now. I've spent more time and money that I care to think about setting up a perfect chroma key studio at home, but people these days don't care about how badly the "talent" is isolated from the background. Just watch some RUclips Shorts "comedy" stuff. Quality is what the professionals obsess over, but to consumers, they don't give a shit so long as the idea comes across.

That really depends on the client. Most of the big players want it natural, in camera. It depends on the subject. I've watched enough A.I. that I know I don't like it. Point and shoot cameras, analogue cameras, all this is making a comeback because people want to go back to the basics. A.I. whilst being helpful in some situations, isn't really my cup of tea, but I can imagine a lot of smaller clients will be leaning towards it if they can get repetitiveness out of it.
