The hemlock is NOT okay. It's the same as the G7 where it's always been good and everyone sleeps on it and respawn just super buffs it so it gets used
To be fair though, it got buffed because of nemesis making the gun obsolete and nemesis is still better so the problem lies with nemesis. People literally wouldn't pick up the hemlock on CP if they had nemesis. Now that hemlock is ground loot and nemesis isn't, they use hemlock. If nemesis was still on ground, I can assure you so much less people would be using hemlock. It's crazy how a whole 2 dmg buff from when it was previously on floor still isn't enough to be better than nemesis.
@@codeotaku8857 I mean the prowler is also the same, respawn just really struggles to get burst weapons to be balanced
@@codeotaku8857precisely. If the nemesis wasn't in the crafter, no one would be running the hemlock.
It's pretty good once you get the hang of it. You can continue to click the Nemesis and it'll pretty much fire but if you do that on Hemlock it won't.

The majority of players will always choose a weapon which gives them the most advantage. It's been this way since the origin of FPS online games.
Take MW2 (original) for example. I gurantee at least 60% (id personally say 80%) of players have their highest kill weapon as the UMP45.
Most casual gamers don't acknowledge this for themselves until it's too late- so content creators create a video! "OmG tHiS gUn Is So BrOkEn" - then bam everyone is abusing it.
It's always going to exist. Different project speeds, fire rates, damage, reload speed, ADS etc. Is pretty much impossible to fully balance.
The main problem, is everyone is obsessed with being a 'pro' and matchmaking algorithms make it so everyone seeks that upper advantage because every game feels like a tournament.

I'm surprised Mande doesn't play Vantage. I like snipers, but I'm so comfortable with some iteration of AR/SMG/SG that I can't decide on what to drop for a sniper. I also love her passive for the intel and I know her tactical isn't as good as Path's, but it's still a movement ability.

I fucking hate aim punch bro, it is one of the most annoying things in apex that I feel like has no justification being in a game like apex, the fact that you can get ticked by zone or hit by a random bullet and have your screen go all wobbly is idiotic.
is supposed to make people fight only w/ armor and inside the circle. i dont like it either.
