So many queues! We think we worked out how to avoid them by the end of the cruise though 😅

We were on this cruise. Totally agree with you on the disorganization and not being informed by ship personnel at check in. We found the check in was not too bad considering that our check in was 10:00 a.m. Our luggage delivery was good the amount of people on board. The ship was chaotic because of school break. With 2,000 children on board and a total of 6,000 people it was rather hectic and too busy for us. Our dining time was early, our waiter was exceptional. We thought the food in the dining room was quite good. We were not impressed with the queues to get on and off the ship at the Rigaskiddy, Ireland excursion. The shows were good. Overall we had a good time because we did a back to back on this ship in same cabin throughout our 19 days on board.

We wished we’d have arrived earlier, but we know for next time! Totally agree about Ringaskiddy, it was such a shame it was so difficult to get off that day. It meant that we basically ended up with a cruise to nowhere!

We were on the same sailing and had a few small hiccups, but overall another great cruise in the books. We are sad to be back in FL and already planing our next trip to the UK.

@@sistersontheseas Right now it looks like back to London in December for some Christmas cheer. Then June possibly World Europa or Virtuosa again.

I was sitting on the beach at Southsea when your cruise ship went past . Of all the cruise ships in Southampton that day that went out in the Solent the virtuoso stood out as the most impressive . I’m sure you will have a great time , we did Norwegian fjords last year on it and was very impressed. It was only half occupancy on that cruise so never felt crowded .

Definitely a very impressive ship! Very jealous that you were onboard with half occupancy 😮

Will be sailing on this ship in due course, the embarkation process seems to be a bundle of fun. I'm thinking of self disembarkation at the end of the cruise rather than having to wait for the suitcase to be delivered.

We know of others who self disembarked and it worked really well for them. Our luggage was too big for us to manage it, we definitely need to learn how to pack lighter!

We were debating whether to do the same cruise in the October half term, so really interested to see your experience on Virtuosa. It looks amazing but I think I'd get frustrated with how busy it is and I definitely wouldn't be impressed with such a late dining time. Look forward to watching your other vlogs on this to see how it pans out 😊

It definitely had its good and bad parts, the ship itself is beautiful, just very very busy! 😍

I’d love to go on this ship, it’s so beautiful!! I’m not sure I could deal with how busy it is though 😅 pizza looked yummy 🤤

The pizza was so good! Definitely a very busy ship, it’s sort of Iona sized but with 1000 more passengers 😱

For embarkation? We definitely could have, it’s impossible to know if it would be like that every time though!

Is there no actual vlog of the embarkation or is it talk through type vlogs

    • @sistersontheseas

There’s footage of the embarkation area in the video. Not the actual process though as we don’t want our personal details on show and as we mentioned the process took over an hour 😊
