Have heard that Virgin Cruises entertainment can be racy. Not for everyone. I may be one of the people the entertainment is not for. Not a fan of deck parties. I like to play until late in the casino. Don't like to be connected while on vacation. Am subscribed. Even hit the like button. #30 of 805 views.

If you need the rest why not sleep late? Don't like to go to deck parties. Usually too packed and the sound is too loud. The Eggplant Parmigiana looked good. Don't think would have meatballs. The pasta looked interesting. Heard the shows could be racy. Have seen enough swinging from ropes, triangles, and rings. Good they had pizza late. How is the casino? Did they have a craps table in the casino?

So want to go on this ship!! 😍😭😭

Wine and Cheese Tour. Hope the wines and cheeses were good. Chocolate Shop, I like Chocolate. When I lived in Wurzburg I often went to the Chocolate Shop there. And you had Chocolate. Don't like Cocktails. Prosecco would be nice and Cava is also good. The Wedge Salad could be good. Salmon is always good. Didn't see a soup on the menu. Didn't see desserts. Olive Oil is good with bread. Could get dessert later anyway. Don't like those stairs. Not a pool person. Seems like you enjoyed the wine and cheese on the tour. Oy vey, the boarding looks like it has many problems. Didn't they give you a map of the ship when you first boarded? Carry a change of clothes in your carry on. Don't eat pork. Fried food isn't good for you. Don't you watch Doc Martin? Don't go to bar crawls. Don't dance anymore. No 24-pizza? I guess Carnival Cruise Line is the only one that has that. Am subscribed and even hit the like button.

I’ve been enjoying all of the embarkation day videos from this cruise - sounds like it couldn’t have gone much worse from a boarding point of view, but it sounds like everyone was up for such a good time once onboard! Also interesting to hear your thoughts about the Manor being boiling - I’ve never found that on other ships. I’ll be intrigued to hear if that keeps up for the rest of your cruise - maybe they turned the heating on because she was sailing from the U.K.? Haha!

Embarkation seems like a complete disaster! And we can say from experience, that gangway prior to boarding is a workout on its own! 😂

This year we’ve cruised on Iona ,Sky Princess and Arvia they all appeared to be suffering obvious staffing issues in restaurants and bars . Our cruise to Norway and Iceland in June on the Sky Princess was considerably more expensive than our March cruise on Iona to the Canaries and our Med cruise in August on Arvia so we didn’t expect the same staffing problems as P&O on a premium brand

When in port in Norway is there a normal time that Iona leaves port ?

Another coach swrvice to consider is Eavesway. We've always used them to get to Southampton from up north, and while they are not perfect, it is another option to look at. They have always at least taken the traffic conditions into consideration and detoured if necessary
