How to Replace the Camshaft Position Sensor on the BMW E36 (1998 328i)

The check Engine light and code P0340 are often the result of a worn out or failing camshaft position sensor--Particularly if you start noticing a lack of power and sluggish acceleration. This is an easy fix as the camshaft position sensor is located on the top front part of the M52 engine in these BMWs.
