I had something similar happen to me. My wife and I were stopped one night and the officer wile talking had his hand inside my window and dropped something. If my wife was not filming on her phone discreetly I would have lost at my trial.
This is a bogus story. Any defense lawyer would challenge the officer's ability or inability to connect the 'evidence' to be connected to the defendant! There would have to be finger prints on the surface. Also, it would have to be placed in an evidence bag, and a chain of control plus the required prints. The substance must be chemically verified as an illegal substance. The so called lawyer sounds like a 'b movie'. The entry of third parties, do not enter a court room and get the floor. They would go to the DA or defense attorneys. This is a tall tale. A poor writer makes the facts fall in place. A good writer shows how things fit together that passes the 'spit test', good reasonable factors. Whoever the judge, was also poorly written. Judges recess a trial, and don't keep reconvening it a week later. Both sides must negotiate a time with open schedules. A defense lawyer gets dash cams, body cams, by notifying the prosecution. When there are texts intimidating parties, it comes from someone with a dog in the fight! A prosecutor who has a dirty cop, won't hurt their future by proceeding with a case that is dirty, or even if they think the defendant is guilty but there is not evidence 'beyond a reasonable doubt'. Lastly, discovery goes both ways. The defense can not spring witnesses without giving the other side a heads up. This goes both ways. When there is so much evidence against a dirty cop, a judge will notify internal affairs and probably dismiss the case. I told a joke on a bus from the airport to the Oregon's capital. The guy must have been a defense lawyer. He laughed when I asked, "How can you tell a successful prosecutor?" "By his/her convictions" He didn't want to know why a successful defense attorney is 'bisexual'....So I didn't tell him the punch line. They don't care what or who you are, "they'll get you off!"
This officer thought they could manipulate the system, but the truth always comes out. Accountability is key
the truth does not always come out and when it does little to nothing is done.
Lying under oath

that is because they need to score points, it is disgusting

So the judge is for the cops

This is boring. The story could have endet after the second video showed up. Double proof and yet dragging on? Not realistic.
