I only found this today but have already listened to this a few times, it's such a fantastic and compelling narrative! I loved this so much. My personal highlight is Maleficent herself, for the two times she appears she's only there for about 2 minutes each time, but she's kind of terrifying, just as the Mistress of All Evil should be.

I absolutely adore this audio however I can't enjoy it normally cause when I love something to much my mind starts to obsess over it leading to my brain decide to come up with a different backstory for Aurora and Ben's relationship even though the backstory in this audio was just as great in this audio but my mind really said: This! This is great! BUT! But! Ok here me out... childhood best friend to lovers. Here it is in short: Ben is the nephew of one of the fairies or at least related to them in some way (maybe Ben is they're godson idk) and was basically raised with Aurora once the 2 of them turned about 4 or 5 (I imagined they are like 1-2 years apart in age) and became childhood best friend. Throughout they're childhood Ben subconsciously knew that something was wrong and something kept on coming after Aurora and decided to protect Aurora as they grew up not knowing the full extent of what it was. Once Ben was old enough to know about the curse the fairies told him about it leading to him promising that he was gonna protect Aurora and him starting to put more energy and effort into protecting Aurora. Around the time the 2 where maybe about preteens (12-13 or 13-14) Ben and Aurora started to develop romantic feelings towards one another. Then curse happens and ya.
