Thank you for the recipe, and for the trip down memory lane. Born in '54, your experience sounds a lot like mine, I'm sure 'Bonnie' and 'Irene'.....my mom, would've been good friends. You had me in tears speaking about your faith in Jesus which my mom and I shared also, and just to know, what a great reunion there will be one day! I remember a favorite treat was to take a brown paper bag with cinnamon and sugar in it, make up some 2 sided buttered toast, put the toast in the bag and commence to shaking it real good.....I need to make that soon LOL! Blessings to you my friend!
Oh my goodness! What a sweet reply! I do know we’ll have a great reunion with those moms of ours someday! I will absolutely try your cinnamon toast in a bag… Immediately! That sounds fabulous! If you are a follower or subscriber you have probably seen some of my other stories. I think you would probably especially like the one about Monty’s Cookies. Check it out! I intend to share more stories, and spread the love of Christ as I go. Blessings to you today and always!! 🤗
Was searching for ham salad recipe, thank you, when you used wild onion I knew this was for me!! P.S I got a meat grinder identical to that hand one you showed, they're $$$ nowadays especially for original manufacturers. Also garlic flowers are like a shallot
You’re blessed to be able to forage those green onions in Texas. Nothing like that in Canada!
Wonderful amazing mom you had, thanks for sharing.
Reminds me of my mother
Love your Ma.... Thank you. God Bless.
Looks good. Will try it soon. You could use it for stuffing miniature cream puff shells for appetizers as well.
Oh my goodness!! Yes!! That would be amazing!! I’ve done mini croissants but your idea is great!! 👍
I love your ham salad and I love your message ❤.

Hi Cindy! Yes! She did. I didn't even know that there was a difference between Miracle Whip and mayonnaise until I was in high school! lol
