In any of your videos do you address the flow restrictions of type B pex? Many times I have seen baths installed with 1/2” type b crimp pex. Because of the flow restriction, without having the tub diverted pulled, the shower head will still turn on/leak 3/4 type b pex is more like 1/2” copper and 1/2” type b pex is more like 3/8” copper

I prefer type A over type B, but type B is mostly used on residential applications. You're are correct, there's a pressure drop using type B.

@@PPG1967I don’t know why but I have never seen a builder in Arizona use crimp pex B on a house. It’s always expansion Pex A or Zurn expansion pex B.

I know this is a older video but any clue why my water pressure keeps rising even after I lower it on the pressure reducing valve?

You check the pressure at the washing machine box?

House was built in ‘85 and was on well water until about 10 years ago most of the pex lines and fixtures are fairly new. PRV has some condensation on it but not really leaking or anything

@@PPG1967 I checked it at the washing machine and it will keep rising to 120

@@DustinFox.This could be thermal expansion from your water heater. If you turn off the water heater and let it cool down the pressure should stay relatively the same minus any fluctuations from the city. If turning off the water heater fixes it you may need an expansion tank on the water heater. If it doesn’t fix it you probably need a new prv.
